Hmmm tough choice, some of my favs are: Surly Darkness glass, Hair of the Dog Tulip and a Thomas Hardy Snifter.

I received one in a trade, tried washing it and broke in my hand, didn't even get to drink out of it. Seemed like the glass was pretty thin.

I received a Deschutes tulip from Eclipse54 in the last package that he sent to me and I gotta say that it is my favorite glass to use.

It was my Bruery tulip, but I just got a new Lost Abbey stemmed glass that I've been loving the shit out of. If only I could find an unmarked 8oz. snifter, then I'd be set.

It is very thin - I think that is why I like it so much - the sense of danger you feel when you use it.

I got the sense that I had a bunch of broken glass in my hand.

I'm a fan of my SA glass for anything that I would pour in a pint glass otherwise I use my snifter/Mad Elf glass.

I've found that glassware us my kryptonite, think of all the money I could spend on beer rather than glass.

Well considering I only have 2 beer glasses I could just flip a coin and decide, but I'll go with my Delirium Tremens tulip.

Wow that looks kind of obscene and that price is disgusting. Would rather spend 150 on beer any day than that ridiculous piece of shelf art.

And I like using a Samuel Smith British pint glass one of my many promo "free" glasses. Easy to clean fits 16oz's and I dropped it onto a concrete floor and it didn't even chip. Must be careful now since I love this glass.

I like this one too since it's another free glass I got during that "two six pack upc" promo thing they did a while back. Just went to my local shop and they gave me the UPC's for free. So technically it was 60 cents for the envelope w/ stamp. Good glass too but kind of hard to clean.

For most beers I tend to use my Wheaton Alefest pint glass. I have other pint glasses, but this one holds a place in my heart cuz I got it at the first (and so far only) beerfest I went to and I attended it with a friend of mine who is also into craft beer. For more "heavier" beer (ris, dipa, barleywine, anything belgian-style), I used my dad's christmas tree tulips. He was 3 tulip glasses with white pine tree designs on them. He's doesn't know where or when he got them, but I know I love those glasses.

The glass that I use the most for beer isn't a beer glass at all. It's an old coke bell glass. The shape enhances the beer pretty decently. I have a couple nice snifters and tulips, including a devel and a deschutes/portsmouth, but I still like the coke glass for light and medium bodied styles.

Either my Lakefront pint or my New Glarus pint is what I pretty much use every night. Maybe a New Belgium snifter once in a while. But I like the pints most of all.

My favorite glass of all time, the 32 oz brandy snifter. (AKA No honey, just half a glass...) Had one given to me on my honeymoon by Scott at CBX. It met the end of all glasses about 8 months later. I need to purchase a rack full of them.

Great post by the way. I have a myriad of glasses for specific types but my fav. Is the St. FRUILLEN (spelling) glass. Attention to detail sets this one apart. A tie breaker is my Duvel and St Bernardus cups. Peace!

#1 Samuel Smith's tulip pint glass
#2 Duvel tulip beer glass (impressive - laser etching at bottom of glass to promote carbonation - copied by Sam Adams' Boston Lager glass)

Either a Founders of DFH snifter. The Founders is very traditional, the DFH is just freakin' cool.

I typically use my tulip for most brews I drink (DIPAs, Stouts, BW, etc..) Its not branded but its is a nice robust tulip that is usually available at nicer beer bars.

I usually pour other beers in either my Chimay goblet or a myriad of pint glasses.

Actually here is a recent pic:
