It never gets the love but TWO ROADS LIL HEAVEN has the best blend, heaviest hop profile IMO

I sadly say Founders all day (to bad they cant make a good regular hoppy beer) and Two Roads Lil Heaven. I see lagunitas being posted alot. I will never drink another beer by that Sue happy Brewery

    Session IPA?

Picking a favorite is tough, since really its just like picking the one I hate the least.

What a stupid style that makes beer taste like hop water. If you want a session - go for a berliner, a small saison, or a pilsner.

I am coming down to Florida in May. I could bring some down. Or if you aren't near orlando or disney, we could work out a trade. 077XX and boat are staples in my fridge.

They don't make this anymore and I am not sure what people's opinions are on "Clown Shoes Brewing" but my favorite was Miracle Mike. That stuff was juicy as hell.

A session beer is one you want to drink for pint after pint after pint. If you don't want another one after the first then it's a pretty poor session beer.In fact it's no business being called one.Like a racing car without an engine, it just doesn't do the job.

I certainly wouldn't call it a session IPA but it is a very tasty low ABV hoppy pale.

I do enjoy Sunshine Daydream from Fat Heads from time to time.

Haven't really liked session IPAs. I'd take a good lager: czech or german pils, or helles for sessionable over the IPAs I've tried. However, I am interested in trying Pinner.

I agree, I was following the list the OP provided and those would be the most bearable for me. I definitely would drink any of the styles you listed, they are much more refreshing and have a pleasant taste.

Yeah man, I'm based up in Gainesville but go down to the Orlando area on occasion. Not so much the SW area towards Celebration and all that (which is where I'm assuming you're headed), but generally I do get down there once in a while.

Well, he was on the right track with Hill Farmstead.

Walden remains the best session IPA I’ve ever had. It’s labeled a blonde on here, but I believe it used to be labeled a session IPA. Whatever, it tasted like a regular strength IPA and was 4% abv.

I think the only one I've ever had that I really liked was the Southern Tier one, whatever it's called. This came as a shock to me, as I don't generally like the style, and Pumking is pretty much the only ST brew that I'm really impressed with.

    From their website

Walden : A sessionable blonde ale. 4% abv. 40 IBUs. Hopped with Motueka, Amarillo and Simcoe.

Saying that we can agree Susan and Walden are amazing beers. :stuck_out_tongue:

Stone Go-To is my favorite, I just wish they canned it. All Day is a great alternative, but it doesn't sell much around here so the 12/15 packs are always out of date.
