The coals are hot. You got the meat and the tongs. You're feeling the outdoor cooking mojo. What beer do you grab? Got to have a beer when cooking on some live fire, what's your choice?

Little hump by highland has a pretty decent flavor profile and is sessionable if you're manning the grill for a large party.

(Urquell, Bitburger, Hans Pils, Konig, Nooner)

hefeweizens might rank second, though anything goes well with outdoor grilling as far as I'm concerned ... hand me a barrel-aged stout, I'll drink it down

For me, being a can is a must. I've cleaned up too many broken bottles and glasses outside. My go-to's right now are Union Jack, Sculpin (Grapefruit and not), 077XX and Founder's Centennial. Also, I likes me some IPA's.

Hard to say just one beer. I usually look for something in a can and usually stick to an ipa or pale. My favorites are:
    Big eye ipa
    Blazing world
    Swami's
    Union Jack
    Torpedo

Modelo tall boy cans...easy to find with a crisp and clean finish. I've enjoyed many different styles while grilling which I do year round, this is the go to for Spring and Summer for sure.

What's in the fridge? Whatever it may be, bam, good for grilling.

Although the last few times no beer. My toddler wants to "help" grill all the time now. Which means I hold him so he can see while working the grill with the other hand. Annnnnnd.... I'm out of hands.

An IPA in a can usually Sculpin, Torpedo, Union Jack but this summer I'm looking forward to enjoying Easy Jack in a can.

For something more aggressive, has to be Troegs Perpetual.

No specific beer, but I prefer IPAs and DIPAs when grilling. Maybe something lighter, like a Hefeweizen, but usually an IPA.
