Probably gonna do a small vertical of Old Guardian 2013, 2013 Oaked, and 2014.
I will be busting out some Surly Furious then hitting my BCBS.
I should be feeling good soon after that.
Trillium IPA line-up with some friends. Fort Point, Fort Point w. Galaxy, Congress St., Mettle, and Heavy Mettle.
AV Gose to go with my lobster, followed by FFF Chevalier Bertrand du Guesclin and capping it off with a 2014 BCBCS
Sip of Sunshine
On the Wings of Armageddon
And whatever the guests bring.
Our traditional NYE midnight toast beer is a magnum of Allagash Curieux
I am going to a party where I don't know the hosts that well, so I am going light so I don't accidentally take a piss in their laundry hamper or something stupid like that.
Bud (not the beer ) and Darkness 14
Either the V-Twelve I've got on hand or Boulevard's Bourbon Quad.
Sculpin, Hangar double
That is an awesome lineup!
64 oz of Cellarmaker The Glow Pale Ale
22 oz of Sante Adarius Cask 200 (Solera Saison)
32 oz of Lawson's Sip O Sunshine
32 oz of the Shape of Hops to Come
750ml of Grassroots Arctic Saison
750ml of Trillium Heavy Mettle
750ml of SN Barrel Aged Narwhal
Hey, did someone take a dump in the dryer?
I gotta work but fortunately I work at a beer bar. So my boss is cracking open a 2007 1.5L Duvel bottle for the employees to toast at midnight. Cheers indeed!!
Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout 14
Deschutes The Abyss 14
FiftyFifty Woodford Reserve Aged Eclipse Imperial Stout
That's a GREAT idea!
I am kicking mine off with Dogfish Head 120 Minute and see what I feel like having after that.
Cuvee Rene. Seems like a champagne-esque beer to fit the occasion.
Finback 2014 Barrel Aged BQE
Bois, 2012 BCBS and cranbic on deck for the night
Didn't think about this until earlier today. From what I have left that was hoarded for Christmas, yet still remains:
Founders Imp. Stout (def. finishing the night with this)
with more Adoration, V@S and/or LuckyBasartd if the need arises. New Year's Day looms...
Don't know the whole lineup, but my contribution is:
...and a sixer of On The Wings of Armageddon
I've done both. Either choice will be spectacular, as long as the party is awesome. I like the people and situations to be the main event. The beer should only aide in the process as far as I'm concerned.
If you're inviting a bunch of BA-holes and money isn't a problem sure throw down. If not, just impress yourself. It's your partay. And FFIW i would gladly a drink torpedo or Lag 6er on any NYE.
Boulevard Bourbon Barrel Quad 2014. And whatever else comes up that I'll regret in the morning.
Keeping it local
-2012 Marble BBA Reserve Ale
-As much elevated IPA as I can handle
I already "lost" some BCBS so I will try not to aim for any variety as the night goes on
Party on dudes
Some St. Bernardus Christmas Ale that I picked up for $6 a piece at Costco the day after Christmas and a few bottles of Pliny. Maybe some other stuff too, as needed.
Sharing some beers with my girlfriend after she gets off of work at 10pm. Saison Brett and 2011 Unibroue Grande Reserve. Also having a prosecco.
Gulden Draak 10.5 Brewmasters Edition. After that...not sure.
30th wedding anniversary on the Mendo coast.Quick stop at Russian River to pick up some Pliny.
I was going for:
64oz Growler of Trillium FPPA and a few Heady Toppers left from Christmas...
Don't have anything specific planned, but I bet I'll be tempted to crack open a Founders Imperial Stout
My favorite beer, Victory At Sea.
I'm going to start with a 750ml Gulden Draak.
If there's anything left of me after that I my go to Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA.
Start with a bcs and end with a Avery brewing tweak
My day will start with a sampling of Weyerbacher's finest, at the brewery. From there I'll probably get a growler filled with something. I have several bottles of SA barrel room bottles (Tetravis, Stony Brook Red, 13th Hour, etc), a few bottles of Cireux, a BA Smashed Pumpkin, and a couple bottles of various Belgian ales to choose from if I don't find anything I like at the local bottle shop. And if all else fails, a local bar has Dogfish Head 120-minute IPA on tap at the moment.
Starting the night off with the best intentions, drunkenly rummaging through my cellar to share with guests, and waking up with a dear god what have I done moment
