We actually agree with you as well. For 2013 we cut 4 beers from our year round lineup and moved 4 others to seasonal status, which reduces our total number of available skus by 7 total. In addition we moved our 4 most popular skus from 22oz to 4-packs of 12oz and lowered the price so that we could move some shelf space into the coolers at stores and further reduce the number of skus we have on the bomber racks.

Clown Shoes has a special place in beer advocacy for me. They are the first beers I ever traded to get. And I got a shit ton of them. I'll never forget drinking my first Chocolate Sombrero last Halloween. Love the Hoppy Feets, Brown Angel, and any of their Stouts. And now it's kinda cool they're distributing in my area so I can just pick their stuff up from the shelf now. Still haven't tried Genghis Pecan though. Haven't seen it in my area yet though.

Thanks Matt. I was actually just on the website. I'm a big fan of Muffin Top and will try the others in the near future.

Tried Let My People Go last night and was shockingly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I've had Vampire Slayer as well and thought it was decent.

    What up, Gugs?

Pick up the 1.5, it was a limited release, and isn't available anymore.
    Here's what I'd do.
    Hoppy Feet 1.5
    Chocolate Sombrero
    Blaecorn Unidragon
    Let My People Go
    Third Party Candidate

Then once you decide you like them, get
    tramp stamp
    Miricle
    Hoppy
All in 12oz. (It should hit you there in 4 packs soon)

FYI, they don't do a pad beer. Some (IE the Brown angel and the 1.5's ) can be a bit over the top for some, but awesome for others.

    What up, uh, you?

No idea who you are, I could start guessing I s'pose, lol. I'm VERY glad I started this thread though! I didn't go buy any Clown Shoes though, I'll make it there this weekend.

i started with blaecorn unidragon, and then happily went back to not buying them. clown shoes = marketing over substance, IMO. also had a sip of their "pecan pie porter" which was terrible. wish they didn't eat up so much shelf space.

Tramp Stamp and Hoppy Feet are the only ones I care for, and I don't even buy them because I kinda have bomber fatigue. The rest are all OK but nothing I've wanted to try again.

What's wrong withem? I think all the names listed above pretty much kick ass. Tramp Stamp? Yes please!

Clown shoes alone is a great name. I bet all the players at fsu drink it for that reason alone.

Not a fan of the beers at all, especially at their price point. I can buy smuttynose bombers and lagunitas for less and get much better beers.

Both of the bourbon barrel stouts that I've had from them were great. Luchador en Fuego and Angry Beast. I'm a big fan of BA stouts and those were both something I'd buy again, probably by the case.
I've also had their Blaecorn Unidragon, Genghis Pecan, and Muffin Top. I'm especially partial to the Blaecorn, but it could be because I love RISs. The Genghis and Muffin Top were both pretty good as well. For some reason I haven't seen the Vampire Slayer around my area, but I intend to try it when I find it.
I've heard good things about the Hoppy Feet, but still haven't tried that one.

Clown Shoes makes some very good beer and definitely worth trying. Pick a style you like and grab a random bomber.

To each their own, but a woman that would get uptight about a beer label(even if it is mildly sexist) is not the woman for me.
