Which establishment in OC consistently has the best draft offerings?

Beachwood BBQ in Seal Beach is always solid.

 

Tustin Brewing Company is pretty consistent with their beers as well as guest beers. I'm completely biased because it's my local bar.

 

I've come to see the Playground as the best. And their bottle list is amazing with only a small mark up on prices.

 

The Bruery occasionally has some good stuff

 

I think La Sirena in Laguna Beach ought to be mentioned as well.

 

Brix in Sunset on P.C.H. always has at least 20 beers on tap. Last time I was there they had Dogfish 120.
That was a nice surprise.

 

Beachwood SB & LB, always has beers on the board that's out of this world. Some you won't see anyplace else. Slaters, Brix, Congregational, etc. has the usual with one or two surprises popping up every now and then. It's all good, but Beachwood's been pretty consistent in the pricing. Most of the others are a buck or three more than BW's. And they offer happy hour. As some of the other don't. I paid almost $10 for a 12oz pour of Flying Dog Imperial Citra IPA at BT's a while back. WTF!!

 

Taphunter may not be your best resource.

Beachwood (both SB and LB) has a hopcam that updates ever 15 minutes or so.

Based on my experience:

TOP 3 = Hollingshead, Brix, Beachwood

The others in TOP 10 = Pizza Port, Haven, Sidedoor, Playground, Tustin, Taps, Slater's

the head is my local....always many stiles going on.....usually either pig or elder on tap always...and a few more hoppy things...always a few great stouts....plus..you cannot beat the environment.....i am always comfortable there......beachwood by the ocean is always good but further away from me.......tustin brewery is goodstuff too..
