White Oak Jai Alai in the Tampa Bay Area

I found a ton at Total Wine Clearwater back in May. It was the week after they released it at the brewery. I'd imagine it would be the same this time.

 

I have found that often the fancier Publixes with the bigger beer selections(singles and bombers) often get in the CCB four packs(WOJA,Jose Marti, Cubano Espresso). Hope this helps!

I just got back from Tampa and the brewery was out, but the brewpub had some 4 packs as of Tuesday.

 

South Florida TW's got it this week. Not sure why the west coast hasn't.

I have a tip. Use twitter to check with ABCs around FLA. Ask one person from a local ABC and they will help check with other ABC "beer guys" for stock. I just started doing this lately with very much success.

 

My pleasure. I actually happened upon another 4 pack at the new Kendall TW yesterday while down south.

 

Yeah I never had ABC on my radar until recently. Chatted up one of the employees for a while, he was very knowledgeable about beer.
Between them and Crown stepping up their game, it's a great time to be a BA in South Florida.

 

I haven't seen any around Saint Pete. Asked the manager at TW on Park tonight and he seemed like he had no clue what I was talking about. I'll assume it just hasn't landed yet.

 

TW is a gamble unless you know the person you talk to is informed.
Try hitting up some ABCs or Crown Wine and Liquors.

 

This shit is so common that nobody has it in stock.

Anybody still seeing White Oak on the shelves in the South Tampa area? Thought two cases would suffice, but turns out I like it too much, and have consumed it all. If not, i'd be happy to swap some 4 packs of FBS for some if you have a surplus.

 

It sat at Total Wine Tampa for two weeks at least, I had just already purchased so much lol.

 

The Brewpub sold their last 4pk yesterday afternoon I believe.

 

Yeah I called yesterday, and they had one 4 pack left, which did not warrant the nearly hour long round trip drive for me

I'd drive an hour, maybe two for another growler of that Rum Soaked White Oak. Probably the best beer i've ever had.

 

I can't believe this common beer is gone already. Damn.

 

It's not. It's still in several places in pinellas and hillsborough.

If he really wanted anyone to know, I'm guessing he would have said it in his initial post rather than just say "It's around still" without saying where.

I also find it amusing my harmless post of mistaken identity got deleted. My goodness, we are an overly sensitive bunch around these parts these days. What was really wrong with me accidentally calling him Richard that my question needed to be deleted??
