Why can't I like Founders Imperial Stout?

    @ OP- You gave it a 4 though? That's a pretty solid score to me. Regardless of the mixed signals (lol,) you're not "supposed" to like it, so don't fret. Save that last bottle and try it again after a while. I wouldn't suggest writing it off just yet because it's a damn fine imperial stout that's worthy of at least trying that last one. Maybe your feelings will change after it ages a bit. If not, screw it and buy what you like.

    I have one bottle left that I'm going to keep for a year and see how much I like it with a little age on it.

    I don't know how that 4 slipped in there...maybe I had a few when I put that rating up. More likely, I probably rated it based on the fact that while it didn't exactly agree with my palate it was solid for the style. My last bottle is going to sit for a year, I'll revisit and see where the rabbit hole goes.

    You HAVE tried it with age on it, right? I cannot drink it without a year anymore.
