    aka How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love White Birch.

    This box has been the center of controversy. Not only did it break Shogo's desire to trade, but when the Bros realized that Shogo had posted a thread about shipping White Birch, they locked it down.

    It landed when I was out of town; while I work at a semiconductor firm that deals in hazardous materials, I was still concerned for the safety of my coworkers.

    But it is now safely in my hands! Here's the porn:

    The haul:

    (This is troublesome -- several of the bottles were marked down in price. Is White Birch not popular over there?)

    (King Henry as an extra!)

    WB may not be desirable, but that's irrelevant. I know Shogo must have driven quite a ways to pick up that selection, since I asked him for a large variety. The extras are simply over the top.

    Shogo is definitely a fantastic trader. You will be missed, dude.

    He drank his Double Black in one sitting alone and sent another bottle my way with the challenge to do the same. I'm still staring at it now, never have the courage. Shogo is definitely a top notch trader, he will be missed.

    That isn't the whole story. He did it in ~1hr. He did it in ~1hr. I was like "Yeah, I did the same thing after reading your review! It took me about 3 hours" He replies, "Yeah, I did it in about an hour after I had already been drinking." I then felt like an ant in Shogo's world of giant people.

    We had an entire thread in the New England forum to help Shogo find as much White Birch as possible. That box was a labor of love to bring you New England's finest.

    (BTW, that Sebago actually holds its own pretty well next to King Henry...)

    You know how cool Shogo is?

    I made him stuff his 9 foot frame into a Honda Civic coupe this weekend and he didn't even complain about it. Although a wicked hangover could have something to do with that.

    Yeah, he's a pretty damn great guy. He sent me a bunch of beers a couple months ago for some Russian River beer that was just sitting at the brewery for a whole month.

    I can't decide which I like better between the Seabago BA Barleywine or the King Henry. Enjoy them Arb.
