It's not very craft, but it is part of beer culture nevertheless: Windell D. Middlebrooks, the pitchman portraying a Miller High Life delivery man in a string of commercials for the product over the last few years, has passed away.

I'm not saying Miller High Life is the best beer in the world (because clearly it is not), but the commercials were humorous and did try to speak to the product being an everyman's beer in a less blunt manner than the recent Bud anti-craft ads did. The commercials wouldn't have been as catchy or funny without Windell in them. There's no arguing that. He made them what they are, very funny.

God's speed Windell and RIP-- cheers to you!
