Wine seller in Ann Arbor open soon?

    i used to go to the wine seller quite a bit a year ago and all of a sudden they closed for remodeling. Any ideas when this place will open again? They always had a great selection of beer.

    Blue front on packard has a very robust/unique selection of beers from all around the USA and abroad. You should check them out if you get a chance. Cheers.

    Yeah that's true I always forget about blue front. It was always just easy for me to check out the wine seller since it was right off the freeway.

    Curious to know also. I'm still on their facebook and it appears to me that they aren't Wine Seller anymore. New name is Rappourt Brew and Chew. I see they were looking to hire a chef, so sounds like more of a restaurant than a bottle shop. I thought they were just adding taps to what they currently had, but sounds like a whole new concept. Guess we'll see.

    They posted a while back that they had bank and licensing delays. Just posted last week that they're looking for bartenders and cooks.

    Yea I heard from a rep who is selling wine to them that they are way behind schedule for opening and once they do open, they will be more on premise than packaging to go. Check out the new Plum Market on Plymouth if you're looking for the best selection that is close by. Prices are good too.

    blue front sure has changed since I was in school ha. place used to be an absolute dump...but we still loved it.

    Not sure if licensing issues have changed the grand plan, but last I was frequenting Wine Seller, the plan was to renovate the space and convert it to a beer bar AND bottle-shop, where you could grab a beer and go shop for those you wanted to take home. Good food an added benefit. Hopefully we'll see soon. It's near where I live, so I'll be back to check it out for sure, let ya know...
