13 drank with a few stouts in the box.. I'm more of a Beers of Fame whore.
d00d it has 53 "reviews" tho
23ish. I was kind of surprised that it was that high. I guess I owe that to some local BAs bringing crazy stuff to tasting.
Your face is a fucking joke.
Down to 64 from 75 last I checked.
Not a ton on this list but here's what I've had:
Trappistes Rochefort 10
Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout
Founders Breakfast Stout
St Bernadus Abt 12
3 Floyds Dreadnaught
Ballast Point Sculpin
Alesmith Speedway Stout
2 yrs ago or so it was in the 70s- now I'm at 41. Thats what not trading for awhile will do to you.
In all fairness I did knock at least 2 beers out of the top 100 with my actual reviews
My "beers of fame" has dropped from 100 to 95 with the changes
I don't think it should even count because a lot of the beers in the top 100 don't have much more than a few hundred reviews. How can it really be considered the best of the best if no one has tasted it?
69 total. Before I think I had around 30-40.
Dropped down to 45/100 for the Popular list, but jumped up to 54/100 on the Beers of Fame list. I should really just try to knock down the Beers of Fame list this year, it's so easy. I can get 40 of them at my local liquor store.
As a Minnesota / Surly fan boy, I'm not a afraid to completely and utterly agree with you.
I've now had 22 of the top 100. Eight of which are among the top 13. But, I've got a few more in the fridge that are waiting...
46 and 8 of the top 10.
"Traid bait shit", have you happened to ever come across a HF ipa or beer in general that was just meh? I doubt it. Of course to try it you may have had to trade for the bait shit....if i didnt wanna drink every ounce i get, i would send you some Susan...iso?
I wanna drink this Twerk.
27 total for me.
I have had exactly ONE, Founders Breakfast Stout.. Damn Top 100!!
Well for those who were at 100/100, you now have a chance to achieve that esteemed goal once again.
Two. I don't follow the masses.
Dropped moderately from about 17-18 to 15 now. Different stuff on there, but still a great list of stuff to try to get my hands on.
I agree with you for the most part, but it is nice to see some of the "top 50" lists that used to have a lot less than 50 beers fill out a little bit. Happoshu and kvass notwithstanding ...
9 for me.
26 with another 6 on deck in the cellar
45, with 12 more of them in the cellar waiting for tastings.
7, with two more downstairs.
I've only had 11 of the current list; no idea about the former. I don't understand comments such as "That list is almost entirely super-hyped trade bait shit from Vermont, Cali, and the midwest now. Good job, everybody in those places. You ruined beer." How is beer ruined by a top 100 list on one of the thousands of beer websites out there? What is "beer" defined as in that sentence? The concept of beer? The institution of making beer? We need more context, and less anger.
Looks like I'm at 56/100 now, I don't know what I had before though.
Cuz Heady Topper.
I'm right around 40/100 give or take a few. Not bad for about a year of ticking.
Went from, 66 to 55. Some of the new beers on this list don't belong there.
28 with 10 more downstairs. I have to stop huffing and start drinking more.
35, and own 10 more that I have not tried.
41/Top 100 & 7/Top 10 thanks to all you lovers of and brewers of VT beer!
I went from 98 to 93. Should hopefully grab 94 this weekend. Most of these are remnants of a hardcore ticking past, and I no longer have any real desire to seek out each new imperial stout, so I assume that number will steadily decline.
I think they added a feature since yesterday that is a check box that allows you to only show the full reviews.
89/100 with no real plans to seek out the rest. Some will almost certainly show up at a tasting here or there, as will future additions. I'll probably hold steady above 80/100 without even trying.
33 on the popular and 81 on the beers of fame for me.
I don't like the merge. You don't even have to prove in an effort-full way that you actually had the beer for the rating to be including in the overall score. I just hope that this doesn't become like IMDB's rankings where dumb fanboys will rate down a certain beer so their favorite might go up a spot. I don't really care that much about the rankings but I always considered it far more respectable that you actually had to make an effort and type up a review in order for the score to be counted.
I'm at 32 on the popular with another 4 I own but haven't opened yet (should have by now). I'm at 91 on the beers of fame and I could get close to 100 from the shelves around here. Those seem like good numbers for me. I don't need to try more of the rare stuff.
