Worst beer you've tried

    I really love this beer, but in small doses. I first had it on draft before they bottled it and it was delicious. Tried it again a year later in bombers and still really enjoyed it. But 22oz was a little much.

    Worst beer I've had in a long time was Jamaica Stout from Big City Brewing (Jamaica). Glad I only bought one 12 oz bottle, so I only had to pour out 9 or 10 oz. It was so bad I am guessing it was infected, but I couldn't even stomach enough to make sure.

    No, it wouldn't do well. It smells and tastes like stomach bile and rotting garbage. It's a terrible, terrible beer that is, on top of it all, not the even style they call it (Lambic).

    It is a terrible beer by any name. However, if they called it "Dingleberry Water Trash", at least it would be an accurate descriptor.

    SA makes some okay stuff and some good stuff, they just also happen to make the worst beer on the planet.

    I know that I'm going to get blasted for this, but for me, it's Rodenbach Classic (Red), which is hilarious as it's rated so high here on the site: http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/216/1882/ But then I can't stand sour ales. I ordered this on tap once several years ago and practically gagged at how awful it tasted. Horrible cough medicine it is!

    Tie between Bell's Christmas Ale (I dumped half of it... Didn't like at all. Perhaps a bad/skunked bottle) and Green Flash's Green Bullet Triple IPA which had a distinct onion aftertaste that was gross. I heard this can be from bad or certain varieties of hops and such, but it was BAD. Freshly tapped at a very busy place, so I don't think it was old or anything. Oh well...

    I like onions, a lot... But not in my beer.

    A couple of locals:
    Brugge Brasserie - Gettin' Figgy With It - (Fig Beer) absolutely disgusting, couldn't even finish the 3 oz sample.

    Flat 12 Half Cycle IPA - Repugnant, finishing a bottle is a chore.

    Don't have a single beer.

    A lot of IPA's and IPL's come to mind. Barleywines. Any beer I consumed in college fits the bill.

    I agree with you on that, I bought one of their mixed packs and ended up drain pouring most if it.
    And I can usually choke them down somehow.

    UNITA hemp black ipa. That shit blows IMO. I also thought great divide titan ipa tasted like old people candy. Not a fan.

    DFH 120. I tried my best to get through it, but there was gag reflex akin to the last few sips of a warming 40 oz. of malt liquor. Despite all that, I am looking forward to revisiting this beer. It's been about 7 or 8 years since I tried it on two separate occasions.
