Off-Color Brewing's Fierce comes to mind.

I know people like this sour beer, but I couldn't even finish a bottle after grabbing a 4-pack to try. Tried again another one a couple of days later.... nope! Gave the other two away to friends to wanted to give it a go themselves.

I think you had to have had a very bad bottle/six pack. It is usually excellent, a regional favorite, and I would drink it all day and all night if there was no craft beer around. Maybe you need to come down and drink Shiner Bock closer to its source. But in Houston, we have a lot of good craft breweries around, St. Arnolds, Buffalo Bayou Brewery, Karbach's, and Ft Bend, to name a few.

Crime and Punishment are made by Stone, not Rogue.

Ska's Pocket Protector 2.0, though two lunatics gave it decent ratings on BA, I found it undrinkable.

Sammy A's Cranberry Lambic is the only beer I can remember pouring out.

Though it's been long enough that I can't remember if, in my naive youth, I was trying to be a good advocate/respecter of beer and it was noble to not drink beer that didn't taste good, or if it was bad enough that I would rather have been sober than swallow that shit.

    TIME FOR A RE-RELEASE!

Bud Light Lime is hands down worse I've every tried. A close second is Banatana. Between three of us, we couldn't finish a 750.....

Either that Occulto tequila beer or Stone's "Suede" imperial porter. The former was just too sweet and tasted like you poured a spoonful of blue agave sweetener into a pint of beer. The latter tasted like a porter brewed with a strong sweet flower taste that was super cloying.

I can't believe I made that mistake :flushed: the beer is still terrible but I enjoy Stone regardless.

I don't know what possessed me to try a stout with cumin and curry in it, but I was feeling adventurous. It's the only beer I've ever poured out after one sip, and I spent the next hour drinking whatever else I could find to get rid of the flavor.

Bud Light, Keystone and Budweiser. Honestly the worst things you could put in your body, regardless that they are macro.

    1. JR Ewing's Private Stock. 25 year old can consumed ~2006. Tasted like a single butterscotch candy dissolved in water used to wring out freshly used gym towels with the mouthfeel of wet paper. Not a craft beer by any means, but we bought a few as souveneirs and figured we'd try one out.

    2. Round Guys canned "The Berliner" -- It's one thing to mess up a batch of beer, it's another to think "people are expecting this to be sour, so we may as well release it." So bad I made my friends all have a sample of my second can so they could know what an infected beer tastes like.

I had the pleasure of "enjoying" a Hell or High Watermelon a couple days ago, and it made me think of two things:

    1. The sweat from unwashed gym shorts mixed with Mad Dog 20/20.

    and

    2. I'm curious what others think the worst beer they've ever had is...

To avoid the pointless conversation about "busch, bud light, etc", please don't include those, as we all know they are generally disliked. I'm curious what CRAFT beers are truly awful. Help us avoid them, and share your stories of woe.
