It sounds awesome, but it is the same day as Zwanze day so that kind of stinks. :(

I'm a big fan of the 'Koop events, pretty much no matter what they're conflicting with. POD in particular is possibly the best of the bunch, too. I think the only thing that would keep me away from it would be if there was some kind of German kellerbier fest going on at the same time.

AC Golden is pouring Blueberry and Plum sours, two never before sampled beers, both aged with the whole fruit in the barrel.

Nice. I didn't even need to see the line-up to grab my tickets. It's always a killer event. Even with breweries simply pouring their "normal" beers like the Czar, Mexican Chocolate Stout, Shotgun, Abyss, and Yeti, it's still a good deal. Tack on some crazy one off or rare items and it becomes even better.
I'm hoping to see Wynkoop's Chancellor make an appearance if they have any left. That beer is criminally good, and it's at least fairly dark.

their Twitter account has a bunch of the beers listed. I'm guessing it isnt a complete list by any stretch. But what is listed I consider to be a whole bunch of "So what?", with the exception of SV Narwhal

Nice, nice. Tons of great beers on there. Plus, it'll be a nice introduction to a lot of the smaller breweries for those that haven't made the rounds yet.

So....about half a dozen beers on that list that you cannot just go to dang near any liquor store and buy? There are a couple of tempting goodies on that list, but the rest....that looks like Old Chicago's tap list

There are roughly 80 beers on the list with roughly more than half being considered great all the way to excellent or world class. For $30 you can drink as much as you want of them. Sometimes I think the beer world is slowly collapsing upon itself.

I'm not saying they are bad beers, just....I guess I expected something more then fairly common beers for 30$ As with most things beer related in Denver though, I'm sure the experience will outweigh the tap list as always :)

Wynkoop always does a great job with their events, regardless of the tap listing. That said, it sucked that this had to be the same day as Zwanze, both for the people at Zwanze, and for the people at Parade.

But holy god, especially the people at Parade. ZWANZE 4 LIFE!!!

I think both events (Parade and Zwanze) show that craft beer has a great community feel to it. While these events are great, and the beer is wonderful, it's the people that put the icing on the cake. Even Josh  ;)

Honestly, though, are really out of beer? That would be tragic. Something must be done

The Parade was a fun event - tons of great stuff. There were a few smaller breweries (West Flanders, Bootstrap, etc.) I hadn't tried before. There were even a few special items around that weren't on the list. Everyone there got a free 6-pack of B3K, which is pretty damned cool. The two sours from AC Golden almost made up for not being able to do Zwanze day, too. Sucks that we had to make a choice, although at least one nameless individual apparently hit up both!

Thank you BAs for helping us make the Parade of Darks a big and fun success. We sold all 350 tickets, raised over 12 grand for Metro Care Ring through the ticket sales, and had a blast talking about and sampling 82 fine beers with over 450 fine beer nuts, generous brewery folks and eager volunteers. If you have suggestions for improvements for next year (and we already have a few of our own) let me know.

Great event. The brett induced Scotch Ale from Grimm Bros was amazing. The sours from AC Golden were really impressive as well. Overall there were a ton of great beers. Wished I could have done Zwanze as well, but I dont regret going to this event one bit.
