So who is going to get some today?
Does anyone know if it's available in stores or only at Wynkoop? Like to avoid driving downtown to get it if it's going to be at my local store.
The only thing I've heard is that "It will be available at select retailers in the brewpub’s Denver distribution area."
Also that it will be available on LetsPour.com today, but I've never understood the thrill of spending $20 to ship <6 mediocre 12 oz. beers, or $30 - $100 for a mixed 6
Might have to make the trip downtown
If anybody is interested in a trade, I am looking to trade for a 2-pack of this. Can trade Philly-area locals, message me for details. Thanks
Lukas posted that they received some this morning.
Anyone seen a price on these yet?
Now the question of whether or not to spend $30 on a 2-pack, or try and get it in a trade.
Buy 4 more beers and free shipping.
6.99 per pair at Lukas. Only 4 pairs on the shelf when I left about 15 minutes ago.
Anyone know of any other Denver area stores getting this? And is it really worth the hype?
It's a good stout - but I think it's getting most of its attention because of some "special" ingredients that don't really lend it a whole lot of flavor. In a blind taste test, I doubt many people could pick out anything unusual in it, let alone what's actually in there. Still, it IS good. If you like their Cowtown, you'd probably like this one, too.
I haven't been in several weeks, but Jim 'n Nick's BBQ in Stapleton had it on tap for several months.
For those in FC, saw this at Wilbur's just now, though didn't pick any up.
Those prices are nuts!
... I couldn't help myself.
saw it @ argonaut today
Also at Supermarket, $6.49
Argonaut has it and so does Hugo's in Cap Hill.
It was a pretty good beer, if they sold it in six packs I'd drink a lot more of it.
