EXCELLENT ARTICLE! I, as a "local" beer connoissuer, love the Yazoo Brewery's offerings! All of them.

When I stopped through Nashville last week, I had a point of the pale ale. Not bad, very quaffable. Good on them to keep it sustainable and to focus on happily producing good beer. That's what life should be about.

Eh...I like some of their stuff, but as the only (to my knowledge) brewer that has a distiller's license in TN, I would have hoped for more high ABV beers than Sue. I don't really count Fortitude because of the limited brewed once availablity.

Yeah it'd be nice if they'd brew more interesting stuff or do some barrel aging...I'm not a big fan of their regular lineup.

I'd say they are expanding off the standard lineup. Besides Fortuitous (barrel-aged and soured), they're working on some more soured/aged brews, plus a collaboration beer done with Calfkiller. See the Yazoo blogs from November for more details on these

Well if you like sours and wilds....I'm pretty excited about some of the stuff we will release this year
