Best Beer: Trillium Headroom- I was lucky enough to get two of these... to me it is the best hoppy beer I have ever consumed... Honorable Mention- TH Green

Best Surprise: Hill Farmstead opening up its growler limits.. I honestly thought I may never try one of their hoppy beers till I went to the North East... amazing stuff.. I am not surprised they were amazing...

Most Overrated: Other Half.... their beers are honestly drain pours to me... except what JC helped them with on Street Green...

Biggest WTF Moment: I am going on the positive note here.. and saying I honestly cant get over every time I have a Tree House beer... they dont make one single "miss"- I cant remember the last time I have had a TH beer and just not shook my head in amazement... Nate's' talents are "WTF" unreal to me!!!

Up-and-comer: I could agree with Hoof.. but they made some miss batches on Blabe.. and the Nelson Sauvin one was not good.. Has to be Grimm to me... i love all the beers I have had from them...

Old reliable (non-whale): Haymarket Mathias IIPA... its usually always on tap and it the best beer you can just go and grab for growlers in Chicago(HA Space would be second).

Old reliable (whale-ish edition): I was lucky enough to get some great Tree House people.. I have had over a case of Julius and Green each... Green is the best IPA that is made consistently...

    Nice thread OP.. cheers all!

Best beer: Jesus, I cant answer this one. BCBS, CBS, KBS, Zombie Dust and Utopias all come to mind. KBS was the only one i had before this year.

Best surprise: CBS re-release: along with KBS at my favorite bottle shop. Actually was able to take a day off work to get this.

Most Overrated: Surly Furious and Overrated. Picked these up on a road trip up through Iowa and both were fresh from HyVee. I was glad I decided to head to Toppling Goliath instead of Surly after I cracked these.

Biggest WTF: When 100s of people stood in the rain for the BCBS release in STL and they were short more than half the line. I was one of the last ones to get beer and I felt really bad that people who had arrived minutes after me missed out. I think when breweries have the opportunity to brew more of something awesome so more people can experience it and they don't it comes down to one thing: douchebaggery. Earlier this year I watched a guy who had driven out of his way for a beer get shot down hard at one of my favorite Midwest breweries because he asked for one of their year round releases they didn't have any of that day. When you have the opportunity to expand and *heaven forbid* make more money, do it. Whether or not you sell out is up to you, it doesnt depend on how many people you reach.

Up and Comer: Wild Onion barrel aged Drago. Great BBA imperial stout.

Old reliable (non-whale): Bells Expedition Stout. this beer is so ridiculously good and age-able. It seems to be available pretty much everywhere each year.

Old reliable (whale-ish edition): Three Floyds. Luckily I live in Missouri and family is from Michigan which means a.few times a year I roll through Munster, Indiana and pick up a few cases of these guys' delicious stuff. Their Alpha King is such a ridiculously good pale ale and is pretty underrated when compared to Zombie Dust. After that would be KBS, I don't think KBS is overrated at all, and it's relatively easy to get.

Up and Comer HWBrewing... awsome thank you so much. We actually have taps in Bakersfield at Eureka Burger and Moo Creamery and also in Covina at Brew and Meatball Company.
We also have 26 taps in the tasting room also.
