As @Wiffler27 already stated, cloudy IPA and wings are phenom. I also like my IPA with an authentic Philly cheesesteak. They tend to taste better on fight night. Cheers.

A proper pint of George Wright's "Mark's Mild" via cask and handpump (does it come any other way?) and traditional, nicely crisped, plump and juicy fish & chips done the right way. If I can't get the Mark's Mild I'll still keep the fish & chips but sub in either Sharp's "Doombar" or Timothy Taylor's "Landlord". There's nothing like a proper pint coupled with proper fish & chips in my book!

A hearty Porter with a hearty beef stew is a recent favourite of mine.

Absolute favourite pairing of mine? A Crisp, clean IPA with a smashed burger (with the works).

A few pairings came to mind
    FBS and snickerdoodles.
    Reeses pieces and Guinness
    Cream ale and Golden Oreos.
Edmund Fitzgerald and coffee cake (now I really want some)
Lots of good beer floats I have concocted. A couple favorites are Stone Xocoveza with Jeni’s Xocareza, Youngs Chocolate Stout and vanilla, and a brown ale with bourbon pecan ice cream.

Gotta be grilled though...not the steamed ones.

Gotta go local, here: 1) The coffee braised shredded beef tacos at Taco Guild in Phoenix, with Wren House Jomax Coffee Oatmeal Stout. Cool restaurant in an old church, with a great staff.

    2) Pizza Bianco's Wiseguy pizza which has wood-roasted onion, House (seriously-smoked) mozzarella, and fennel sausage. Had a Funkwerks saison with this, and the flavor combo was amazing.

Fresh Brown Shugga with a Milano pizza from Pizza BOGO. Super intense in many directions for both.

6 month+ aged Brown Shugga with a reverse seared, 1 inch thick Delmonico steak, cooked rare. With aging, the Shugga becomes less intensely hoppy, and takes on a more complex, caramelly flavor, which (when taken in small sips!) compliments the Maillard flavors of the steak.

Okocim Pilsner with the blood, sweat, and tears of an 8-hour outdoor construction project in the summer. I have never had a beer taste so damn good before or since.

Oooh I have to try that.

I want to add Gyozas (Japanese pork dumplings) and Ashai Lager

Korean BBQ with Cass beer to this phenomenal list.

You don't need to be a match scientist to appreciate these combos.

Hope you guys get a chance to try it out.

I love smoked meats and I often smoke pork, chicken and fish.

Recently I smoked a fillet of half a salmon planked on a cypress board with apple wood, which turned out wonderfully. I paired it with Hill Farmsteads BA Fear & Trembling (smoked baltic porter aged in wine and bourbon barrels).

Some may say smoke overload, but you asked and thts my heaven.

I had Alaskan Smoked Porter with Alaskan salmon, fresh-caught and straight out of the smokehouse. It doesn't get too much better than that.

Also, Jed's Hard Root Beer over vanilla bean ice cream. Ditto.

I love just about anything smoked. Meat, eggs, fish, beer, it's all good. The No. 1 thing on my want list right now is a handheld smoker. I should be able to do a lot of damage with one of those. I have a new electric smoker, still in the box. As soon as spring gets here and I have a little time, I'll start tinkering with that.

The thing about the Alaskan smoked salmon was that it was "authentic." It was fresh-caught on Nushagak Bay, then dried and smoked the way the Yup'ik people have been doing it for probably centuries. There was no electricity in the village. Come to think of it, there wasn't a helluva lot of wood, either. :stuck_out_tongue:
