Weeeeeeelll, I don't think I can narrow it down to six BREWERIES or six STYLES of beer, let alone six specific, individual beers. It makes my brain hurt to even try.

So I'll include my best attempt at a 12-pack, with the idea that any 6 beers selected at random from the full 12 would be a mighty fine 6-pack in my eyes.

    (in no particular order)

    Boulevard Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale
    Green Flash Rayon Vert
    Orval Trappist Ale
    Young's Double Chocolate Stout
    Cantillon Classic Gueuze

Are bombers allowed in the sixer? I'm just going to assume yes (when I lived down the street from Brew, a bottle shop in south Philly, they always let me mix-a-six with bombers). I'm also only putting in beers I've had before.

I started thinking about this and figured someone started a thread, but I was surprised it didn't get a ton of responses cause it's a great question. I usually can never find a mix 6 I actually want to throw together--either so-so selections or freshness issues typically deter me. So if I could build a "dream" 6er it'd be:
    Victory at Sea

Ten Fidy (drink it closer to warm than cold, its much better believe me)
    Dragon's Milk
    Grand Noirceur
Dark Horse Tres Blueberry Stout (not an Imperial but close in ABV)
    Founders Breakfast Stout
Good Morning by Tree House (not an imperial and not in bottles, growlers only but it is the best beer I have ever had personally).

I've had a limited amount of stouts, maybe 30-40 total but this is my list... take it or leave it.

I have others in my cellar but I haven't tried them yet... I'm looking forward to cracking up my Narwhal, but I'm saving it for New Years.

also... if you haven't tried many Belgians yet, I would highly recommend Gulden Draak.
