    You are probably right in thinking that it is a very specific topic, but that is kind of what I am going for. Trying to find some "off the beaten path" beers that many of us have not heard of but should seek out.

    Freetail's La Muerta EC12-Coconut and Rahr & Sons 11th Anniversary were great bourbon barrel imperial stouts with coconut. I'm not sure how extensive Rahr's distribution is but it made it to San Antonio. La Muerta was a brewery only release.

    Momi hiwa from avery. Too sweet for me, but everyone raved about it.

    Also, ba death by coconut never made it to cans sooooo....

    I thought this was a trolling spoof, at first. As usual, I'm amazed to see the range of stuff out there and inspired to find and try some. (Here come the trade requests for my cellar of lambics.) "Vhat a country!"

    Coconut ANTEAD is really awesome, it's got more of a raw coconut taste going on compared to something like Snowed In which slaps you in the face with that suntan lotion-y coconut taste. Both are amazing, but different ends of the coconut spectrum. For me:

    1) Coconut ANTEAD
    2) Nooner 10
    3) Prop (coconut was subtle, as just a "beer", this beats them all)
    4) BA 4th Anniversary
    5) No Rules

    I did not like Bourbon Coconut Monsters Park, such a letdown!!!
