I was thinking about this earlier today while contemplating how I would get my hands on some of the reported KBS.

And after all this time I still miss:

    Dogfish Head World Wide Stout
    Dogfish Head 60 Min
    Lagunitas Hop Stoopid
    Sierra Nevada Hoptimum
    Bourbon County Brand Vanilla Stout

What is your favourite American beer(s) which is/are no longer available in the UK market?

I'm with you on the Dogfish Head brews. I've had 60 minute and 90 minute before and would certainly enjoy having 90 min again. If I'd known their beers were going to disappear I might have tried a few more when I had the chance......

Not that Sculpin was ever commonly available in the UK but it was a staple of mine last year when living overseas. The other Ballast Points I can take or leave.

After having secured myself some KBS at the weekend, along with some Even More Jesus VIII and some Galway Bay sour. I realised that we are able to get some awesome beers on the emerald isle. From what you list about we can get the last 3, unfortunately, no Dogfish Head :slight_frown:
I am planning a trip from Belfast to Dublin to pick up some more hard to get beers and if there is still KBS knocking about I will try and get as much as I can for potential trades.

I go back once or twice a year, and I almost always return with some loot. I'd be up for possibly trading some stuff when I've got it...anybody do IP trades in London?

Rogue beers were available in Sainsburys about eight or nine years ago including their Imperial Stout... I remember them being on offer for 99p a bottle as they weren't selling

I think I've still got one of these somewhere from when they sold them off cheap.....

I'd go with Dogfish Head too. I was lucky enough to start drinking just a few months before they stopped exporting, so 90 minute, Palo Santo Marron, Midas Touch and Festina Peche were some of the first beers I ever drank, back in 2011 when I was a wee nipper of 18 years.

Me on 90 Minute back then: "Overall a great beer, I don't usually like Imperial IPAs but this is good, I will definitely have to try some more US IPAs in the future." Haha. Mission accomplished.

I managed to get a hold of 4 x KBS. If you fancy a bottle I'd be up for a trade at some point!

The Drinkstore.ie were selling it at a limit of 4 bottles per customer. I believe they are sold out or at least it is no longer on their site

Some of the beers on Drinkstore.ie, it makes me want to ask if you'd be a mule if I paypaled you some shipping money haha :stuck_out_tongue:!

I know McHuges have some left which is where I got mine, hoping to pick up some more when I hit Dublin in the coming weeks.

Yeah Mchughs appear to still have some. Limited to 1 per customer so I opted to go with Drinkstore as frankly 1 isn't enough!

On the subject matter though, I really miss Bourbon County Stout. Think 2013 was the last vintage we got in. As for the Vanilla version, that's a beer I won't soon forget. Miss DFH a little though not a huge fan of 60 or 90 min. Loved Palo Santo though. We're getting plenty of Siren here right now which is keeping me tied over!

Oh and Lagunitas Hop Stoopid has hit the shelves here recently along with their IPA and Lil' Sumpin Sumpin Sumpin. I believe more are on the way.
