I personally go for The House of Wines (Marietta) or Kroger and ... And Beer (Athens)

Athens Kroger is probably my favorite of the 3. Amazing beer selection (they get rare stuff), amazing grocery selection, and it has a Starbucks inside of it.

Vintage Estate in Boardman is excellent. Usually a solid tap list. Great bottle selection and the owner, Jeff, is a hell of a dude too.

Mack's here in Cleveland is usually the go-to.

In Toledo, now that The Anderson's is no more, I go to the following places.

    Casual Pint (Just Opened)
    Monette's
    Joseph's Beverage Center

+1 for Vintage Estates in Boardman.

Also Lou's Beer & Wine Cellar in Austintown.

+1 more for Vintage Estate. And when I make it out that way, I just head up South Ave & left on 224 to Casual Pint. (Only been there twice, but it was a smaller nice when I was there.) And a sometimes hidden gem a bit farther, but not TOO far, away is the Chalet Premier. (Definitely not comparable for a mix 6, but sometimes they get some different stuff in bombers or get some 4 or 6 pks that are different or that sold out up the road.

Lately though, if I'm not getting beer at breweries or from Tavour, I've been heading to Cork & Cap in Warren. Much closer, not a bad selection, and starting to get in a little more. I'll pay a bit more for it being closer/much less time. And there are occasionally some gems on tap.

I haven't been to casual pint yet, but you have to check out Holloway Beverage Center.

I haven’t been to Mack’s in over 20 years, but I drive by almost every day. May need to check it out.

I generally go to Circle A in N. Royalton, with the infrequent visit to Royal Park.

In the Dayton area, I would suggest
    Belmont Party Supply
    Ollie's Place
    The Barrel House

I don't know how Casual Pint in Toledo can have some bad reviews when they haven't even been open for 2 weeks.

There is one in Boardman...maybe that's what the reviews are for?

They were for that location but if there were issues they don't exist now.
I went there today and they couldn't have been more helpful. Bartenders not super knowledgeable but got the answers for me. Very nice tap list. Had Total Eclipse with Ethiopian coffee that was fantastic!

If they are anything like their counterparts in Cincinnati, they SEVERELY overcharge for their singles.

Just a few examples MadTree Galaxy High $11.99 a 4 pack, 1 single can $6.00.
    Waldo's Special Ale $10.99 a 6 pack, 1 single bottle $6.00
Their cheapest can/bottle in the single cooler is $4.00.

If you buy a whole six pack, they'll knock 30% which will get your mixed six down to, at a minimum of $16.80. Oh yeah, and they charge tax on top of that.

I don't mind drinking there, but I won't buy beer.to go from them. The one in Oakley Station has severely reduced their to go selection, wouldn't be surprised to see it go completely.
