Used to be when we went to the Jersey (NJ) shore I would buy a case of Rolling Rock nips. Being small you could finish them faster and before they got warm. Plus they went down so easy in the hot weather. No vacation this year but found my summer beer. All Day IPA. Goes down easy with a little kick. Can also drink them all day.

    Your vacation/summer beer?

Just got back from a week of camping in the great northern woods of Michigan, took plenty of Heady and Ghandi-Bot with me, it was perfect, canned is the way to go while camping!

When you're up East on the Coast of Maine for the summer, grab a Gansett. Otherwise, drinking a Leinie Kolsch Canoe Paddler today.

Depends on where I vacation. Trying a new area's local drinks and food is a big part of vacations for my wife and I.

Well, my upcoming vacation in Rehoboth will undoubtedly be very DFH heavy, but on vacation at home it's a lot of the lighter summer beers we keep kicking around on here. However, I have been digging the much heavier Kane Overhead lately.

I've been into IPA's primarily, and dabbling in ryes and pilsners (which I usually don't like). Also had a good brown ale recently, and a tripel tonight. You know, I've really just been drinking a lot of beer...

Well, since my wife and I are going to Disney World/Universal this summer, with a Tampa side trip, it will most certainly be anything by Cigar City and PEGS. In terms of specific beers, I'm sure "Jai Alai" and various permutations of "Maduro" will be popped in our resort room quite frequently.

Leaving for the beach next Saturday, and managed to keep safe and out of my hands some HT , maybe 20 cans and 2 Furious. I'll also bring some Miller Lite, man cannot live by HT alone, I want to enjoy them not feel like I'm forced to slam them down. I'll also drift over to the Pig and check out their growler station to see what's good. If not for the HT Caldera/Modus would work very well too.

Brooklyn Summer and Grey Sail Flying Jenny for my beach beers. Peak Summer Session and Cape Cod IPA for my on the deck beers.

I also tried Foolproof Barstool last night and was pleasantly surprised. One of the better blonde/golden ale's I've ever had, nice carbonation and really interesting hop profile. At 4.5%, definitely something to add to the summer rotation.

WHen I think of vacation beer, I think of beer in cans mostly... so you don't have to worry if glass is allowed.

Beach, outdoor theater.. cans are the way to go.

SIde note... I'm picking up some traded for Heady Topper cans tomorrow.. just in time for the 4th of July and weekend.

Easy to find, great price, go down fast and easy. And while they may not be nips, they are 11.2 oz so you finish them quicker and are ready to repeat the process more effciently.

Most importantly, it is an incredible brew!
