Zwanze Day Locations 2016

I've heard the unannounced place is in NC. And it will be at a brewery. @bcp5296d is this what you heard?

 

If this is the case I would assume Asheville, given the city's brewery-centric reputation. Any word for real though?

Anxiously awaiting an announcement for NC. Called Fonta Flora, and a very sweet woman said "...I don't know if we can comment on that...". You could detect a smile through the phone, so fingers crossed.

Did you purchase tickets last year in BK? or just wait in line ?

 

Just got in line. I think we got to Spuytin Duyvil around 9:30am with doors being at Noon. The staff gave out a limited allotment of entrance tokens. I'd say we got ours about halfway through, but I wouldn't have wanted to chance it any later, plus we were one of the last groups that was able to snag an outdoor table.

 

Shelton Bros. announced the last US venue, Fonta Flora Brewery in Morganton, NC!

Did you ever hear back from Crooked Stave on their plans for this?

 

Hmmm so for the brooklyn place I can just show up tomorrow? Or do I need some type of ticket? Excuse my ignorance thanks

 

I remember the first year I moved here, going to Zwanze Day. I wasn't sure what to expect, but was happy to simply walk in, grab a beer and toast. The next year, there was a line to get in and they ran out of tickets. This year, I'm getting there a couple hours before hand to make sure I get a taste. Crazy how the beer scene here as skyrocketed in such a short time.

 

I heard I'd have to get there at 7 am in brooklyn and wait till 3 to drink a glass..........doesn't sound too ideal even though the beer this year sounds fucking incredible
