Chouffe-fest '06

What: Beer Release / Tasting

When: Wednesday - December 27, 2006 @ 12:00AM

Where: Essex Ale House, New York, New York
How can we ring in the new year without toasting the old one? Keeping that question in mind we have hatched Chouffe-fest '06 which will be kicking off at Essex Ale House starting this Wednesday night (December 27th) with three fantastic and uncommon Chouffe beers on tap featuring Brooklynette/Gnomette 2, N'ice Chouffe, and Houblon Chouffe all on tap starting at 12 Noon (for those of you with time off and family to avoid) and will be available until the kegs run dry. As far as we can tell never before have all three of these rare draught offerings been presented together at once in NYC. And though we regularly offer Houblon Chouffe on tap, we've never put this Belgian Double IPA up against Garrett Oliver's Double IPA recipe as interpreted by a'Chouffe brewmaster Pierre Gobron (aka. Gnomette 2/Brooklynette), so for that opportunity alone we are very excited. As Always these beers will be on until they are gone (save for the Houblon, which will remain at home here into 2007), and as this will be our last event of 2006 we're hoping you can all make it down and enjoy some great beers, show off your new gifts, and share some laughs.
