The 2011 Holy Mother of Gatherings will be held at Brick Store Pub on March 5th from noon til 4pm. For anyone who hasn't been to this event before or is new to Beer advocate here's a few of the details.
Holy Mother of gatherings is a free event held annually at The Brick Store Pub. Everyone who wishes to attend is asked to sign up on the events page as soon as possible (head count.) Please bring a rare beer or two from your beer cellars to share. We register all the beers at the door and take photos of empties at the end. In addition to tasting tons of beer we wouldn't normally get to try we get to put BA names with faces. The last two years we have raised a couple thousand dollars (used to help fight bullshit beer laws in the south.) The money was raised from a huge beer swag raffle and rare beer auction. Yes we had some Westvleteren in the auction last year! Tours of the cellar and upstairs cellar room will be happening as well. I hope to see some new faces as well as the seasoned veterans at this years event. Beer mail me with any questions. PGHLEE
