Join us for cask ales done right at the 2013 New Hampshire Cask Ale Festival!

Our goal with the NH Cask Ale Festival is to bring together classic British cask ales alongside a hand picked selection of American cask ales for your enjoyment. From host White Birch Brewing’s Belgian inspired beers, to a New Hampshire brewpub classic like Martha’s Exchange, we’ll have something for everyone. Breweries that still support this historic method for enjoying ales do so with a passion for how their creations are served. We are privileged to bring these beers to the American Legion Hall in Hooksett, NH for us all to enjoy.

By now you might be wondering what is cask ale and what makes it different? Basically cask ale is a beer that has been allowed to finish fermenting in the cask or container it will be served from. Lovers of cask-conditioned beers enjoy the broader range of flavors that result from the clear, naturally carbonated ale served at cellar temperatures. What’s beer without great food? We’ve got you covered with our festival cosponsor the British Beer Company. These guys know great beer and they know how to make great food to go with it. Now that they have a location in Manchester NH we’re excited to be able to bring their expertise to the table.

If you haven’t experienced a cask beer you’re in for a treat. There is a real art to preparing and then serving it. We’re excited to partner with the experts at Cask-conditioned Ale Support Campaign or CASC for short. CASC consists of professional brewers, publicans, home brewers, and beer lovers who volunteer their time to plan and execute real ale events throughout New England. You may have even been to one of their NERAX events in Massachusetts or a Cask events in Maine. Like brewing, support of cask beers is a passion.

Combine great beer with great local food, bottled water, parking and a collectors quality glass all for one price and you’ve got the makings of a must attend event. We’re limiting the tickets to 200 per session, so there will be plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. We hope you’ll join us for a great time at the 2013 New Hampshire Cask Ale Festival in Hooksett, NH.
