SO MANY mugs they had to come to Port A on a semi - LET'S ROCK!

BREAKING NEWS - Island Tom signs Corpus Christi-based Aloha Dave and The Tourists for SeaFoam™ 2013 - performing on FRIDAY evening from 5:30pm-8:30pm.

The festival, which organizers have designated their SECOND annual SeaFoam™ festival, will be held at Roberts Point Pavilion near the ferry landing.

Live music will be provided by THREE BANDS, including Aloha Dave and The Tourists, The ONES, and Port Aransas-based Havana Daydream, which includes "Trop-Rock" musicians Luis Roel Villarreal and Alma Squillante.

Aloha Dave and The Tourists take the stage at 5:30pm on Friday — admission includes the live music concert!

100% (ALL) of proceeds from beer sales will benefit the Kiwanis Club of Port Aransas, according to SeaFoam Producer "Island Tom" Hartford.

Admission to the festival is $12 per person, and samples of beer will be available for $1. Must be 21 to sample.

Admission includes your choice of a commemorative event shirt or a commemorative glass mug on the way out. Having a glass container in the park is prohibited by the City, so commemorative mugs will be given to participants as they leave the festival.

The beer samples will be poured from chilled bottles into 4-ounce plastic cups. However, at least one featured beer, Octoberfest by Samuel Adams, will be on tap. The Boston-based brewer is a national sponsor; regional sponsors include Andrews Distributing of Corpus Christi.

The event will be limited to 500 wristbands each day, and security will be provided by off-duty Port Aransas Police Department officers. Multiple PAPD officers will be on premises at all times during the festival's serving hours.

An open car show will allow spectators to enjoy various classic & custom cars from around the Texas Coastal Bend on Saturday from noon to 4pm.

SeaFoam will be open FRI 5pm-9pm & SAT 11am-6pm. A strong supporter of Port Aransas hotels and restaurants, Island Tom said the festival would end at 6 p.m. to give participants the opportunity to dine out locally in Port A.
