Downtown “Do the Brew is a craft beer tasting event featuring 100 different craft beers from more than 40 different state, regional and national breweries. The purpose of the event is to bring the unique tastes of craft beers to Hastings area residents and raise money for the Hastings Community Arts Council. Only 700 tickets will be sold to this year’s event. This is a 21 and over event!

The event will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Hastings City Auditorium located at 400 N. Hastings Avenue, Hastings, NE. Doors open at 4:00 pm and beer tasting stops at 8:00 pm.

Tickets can be purchased at the Hastings Area Chamber of Commerce, Murphy’s Wagon Wheel and WineStyles or online at www.downtowndothebrew.com. Tickets are priced at $25.00 in advance and $30 at the door.

Your ticket includes admission to the event, a commemorative “DO the BREW” tasting glass and four hours of craft beer tasting.

Food vendors will be on hand and food will be sold at an additional cost and WineStyles of Hastings will be providing a selection of wines at an additional cost.

Proceeds from this event go to help fund the Hastings Community Arts Council. The purpose of the Hastings Community Arts Council is to nurture, promote, coordinate and celebrate arts, artists and culture in the greater Hastings area.

We welcome designated drivers to our event, however the event is a fundraiser and everyone in attendance must purchase a ticket and BE OVER 21. NO EXCEPTIONS!

No one under the age of 21 will be allowed into the event! This includes designated drivers who must be at least 21 years of age. No infants, toddlers or children are permitted. A valid photo ID must be presented at the front door to enter.

Downtown “DO the BREW” Rules

• 21+ Only – Must show valid photo ID for admission
• Don’t Drink & Drive – get a ride or designate a driver
• Promotional photos and video will be taken at this event and you grant permission for your likeness to be used.
• Drink responsibly, know your limits!
• This is a sampling event, 2 oz. beer tastes only!
• No pets or children allowed.
• No outside drinks or food allowed.
• Ticket holders will receive one souvenir glass for this event. Replacements (if available) are $6.00 each.
• “DO the BREW” reserves the right, at our discretion, to remove any individual (s) from the event for inappropriate behavior. You will be escorted out by security and not allowed back in!
• All exits are final. No alcohol is permitted outside the event.
