Beginning at 6pm, Cambridge Brewing Company will be throwing a Mardi-Gras Party to benefit the relief efforts in support of the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Chef Brian Roskow will be preparing special fare in the Cajun tradition such as Shrimp Etoufee, Oyster Po’ boys, Gumbo and bananas foster (a true New Orleans classic). Live Dixieland music will be presented by Andy Voelker’s Moon Shiners, a local ensemble comprising some of Boston’s brightest young jazz musicians. 25 percent of the proceeds of the evening’s sales will be donated to Habitat for Humanity, to support rebuilding efforts for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, along with additional funds raised through our fun-for-all raffle. Raffle prizes will include dinner for two at our next Brewer’s Dinner on November 12, a $50 gift certificate to the Blue Room, and tickets to hear the Dirty Dozen Brass Band at Harper’s Ferry on November 17.
