A dinner with beer legend John Freyer of Founders Brewery out of Grand Rapids, MI, one of's top 10 breweries in America. Dinner is at 7pm on Wednesday, April 30, 2013.

Five food courses and with paired beers will be served, including 2012 and 2013 versions of Old Curmudgeon and the infamous Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS), an imperial stout brewed with a massive amount of coffee and chocolates, then cave-aged in oak bourbon barrels for an entire year, and one of the highest ranked beers in the world.
Menu created by our Executive Chef, Joey Beato:
-2012 and 2013 Old Curmudgeon - Sourdough toasts with toasted cashew butter, molasses, arugula and spring onion salad.
-Backwoods Bastard - Pecan Smoked Brisket Slider, Jalapeno and tomato jam, crispy onions
-Doom Imperial IPA - Roasted Corn Bisque, cured pork shoulder, black pepper brioche croutons.
-Imperial Stout - Shaved NY strip cheesesteak, provolone, caramelized onion.
-KBS* - Flourless chocolate cake, coffee reduction, basil, graham crackers.

*Please note, KBS is limited and will be available to ticket holders only. There will NOT be any KBS available to walk-ins.

$80 ticket includes dinner with beer pairings, tax, and gratuity. Please let us know when making reservation if you have specific food requests (vegetarian, gluten-free, allergies, etc) and we will do our best to accommodate. Courses and select beer offerings are subject to change. This dinner is for age 21+ only.

We will also be offering a beer flight of KBS, Old Curmudgeon 2013, and Red's Rye from 5-9pm. $25 flight includes 3 beers, tax, and gratuity. After 9pm there may not be any KBS left, so it is important to come during this allotted window or you forfeit your allotted pour with no refunds. These tickets are for ages 21+ only.
