New York City’s Legendary Blue Note Jazz Club is booking jazz artists for the NYC Craft Beer Festival – Summer Jazz, taking place July 20th at Webster Hall.

“When Webster Hall became available for our Summer Craft Beer Festival, we immediately reached out to our friends at Blue Note Jazz Club to provide the musicians. We knew terrific live music, in a historic, air-conditioned venue, with summer craft beer releases, was an amazing combination, said Ken Tesler, founder of Hand Crafted Tasting Co., the promoters of the very popular NYC Craft Beer Festival series.

Jazz Bands booked by the Blue Note Jazz Club include The High & Mighty Brass Band, Joe Alterman Soul Jazz Band and the beer community’s very own, Chris Cuzme, will play bass in the band, 508's McClain and the Alers. Cuzme is the Brewer at NYC’s 508 Gastrobrewery.

The Summer Jazz – NYC Craft Beer Festival tasting will showcase Summer releases from 75 of America’s best Craft Breweries, with approximately 150 selections, and the beer list is being curated by Giancarlo & Sarah Annese from and authors of the upcoming book, “Beer Lover’s New York” from Globe Pequot Press.

Snacks designed to enhance the tasting sessions will be available for purchase in the food court from Craft Beer focused restaurants Coopers Craft Kitchen, Stone Street Tavern, Rosamunde Sausage Grill, Savory Pie Guy and others.

During the event, leading Craft Beer experts will host intimate, 50-person, first-come, first serve, seminars, and many brewer’s representatives will be available at the taps to educate the guests about their liquid offerings.

Tom Acitelli, Author of “The Audacity of Hops: The History of America’s Craft Beer Revolution” will discuss New York’s Pioneering Role in the Craft Beer Revolution, and Weyerbacher Brewer, Chris Reilly, will lead the seminar on Barrel Aging Beers.

The NYC Craft Beer Festival-SUMMER JAZZ will offer two sessions, 12:00 PM-3:30 PM, and 5:00 PM-8:30 PM. Tickets are on-sale now at

VIP and Connoisseur ticket holders can enter the tasting an hour earlier and have access to the beer, the brewers and the food during this first hour. This is a great time to speak with some of your favorite brewer representatives and avoid what is always a sold-out, capacity audience later in the day.

Finally, just one hundred & fifty Connoisseur tickets are available for purchase per session. The Connoisseur package offers a speedy entrance line into Webster Hall and access to the exclusive Connoisseurs Lounge for the entire session where there will be an additional 15-18 rare beers not found on the Grand Tasting floor. The Connoisseurs Lounge is a great, relaxing place to chill when the venue reaches capacity.

“Our Connoisseurs Lounge is a very special place. We offer a private, lounge environment for beer fanatics to listen to live acoustic music from Morley, while sampling some of the rarest, Summer release beers you’ll ever get a chance to drink AND delicious finger foods are included. It’s like being backstage in the Artist compound at one of our concerts” said Tesler.
