The Great Perennial Artisan Ales Cask Takeover: 5 Rare Real Ales on Tap!

Back during DC Beer Week, we hosted an amazing dinner with our good friend Phil Wymore and his outstanding Perennial ales. We got to talking about future events, and decided we needed to turn over all 5 of our cask engines to his real ales...and soon.

Next Tuesday night, September 10th, at 6 pm, we are excited to pour 5 different Perennial cask ales! This will mark the first time for Perennial casks in Washington, DC, and Phil and his crew have sent some stunning selections.

The rarest of the bunch is the Perennial Kriek...featured at our dinner in August, this was one of the most memorably delicious brews we poured all DC Beer Week; we can't wait to see how this oak-aged Red with Michigan-grown sour cherries will show on cask. The brand-new batch of Peach Berliner Weisse will also be on cask, and this firkin has been additionally spiced with Holy Basil. Rounding out the list is Barry Rye w/ Cacao nibs and vanilla beans in cask, Aria with peaches and Galaxy hops, as well as Hommel Bier dry-hopped in the firkin w/ Mosaic and Sorachi Ace hops.

There is no admission charge for this event and all Perennial casks will be priced individually by the glass and in 4 oz. pours.
