When: Friday - November 15, 2013 @ 06:00PM to Friday - November 15, 2013 @ 11:00PM

If you're a strict vegetarian or vegan, you'll know how difficult it is to buy beer suitable for your diet. If you're not, you may wonder what all the fuss is about. A lot of beers contain finings - a substance added to beer to improve clarity i.e. make the beer clear. But, finings are not usually vegetarian. In fact, they were traditionally made from milk, egg whites, fish swim bladders and blood. Eugh. In the beer - double Eugh (these days, thankfully, gelatin is more commonly used). The vegan beer revolution is not just about vegan principles, it's about a return to natural beer. Beer should have a natural haze if made traditionally, but we modern fussy drinkers like our beers clear - hence the continued use of finings. So on the weekend of 15th and 16th November, we'll only be showcasing natural beers that are also suitable for vegans. It's a real taste experience to introduce your tongue to such beers! As part of the Vegan Beer Weekend, the food will all be vegan and very healthy: tasty hot dogs from The Mighty Fork, who do globally inspired hot dogs so packed with flavours that you'll want a fork to go back for the toppings. 100% plant-based. Low fat. No cholesterol.

The Craft Beer Social Club is a club for lovers of beer that runs every Friday and Saturday until 14th December. We specialise in supporting, promoting and educating about British beers (real ales and craft beers).

Tuck into the UK's finest craft beers at The Craft Beer Social Club's dedicated British Pop-up Pub. Enjoy a selection of delicious new beers from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland from the weekly changing menu. There are over 8,000 beers brewed in the UK by over 1000 breweries, and we'll be showcasing a huge range them in draught and bottled beers including rare, one-offs and collaboration brews.

You'll see tasting notes on all the beers available to help you decide what to try, and our friendly staff will be on hand for questions or just simply to chat about beer.

If that wasn't enough, The Craft Beer Social Club's Pop-up Pub will feature a rota of up and coming London chefs and purveyors of street food tasked with creating imaginative menus that complement the beers and tantalise your taste buds.

The exclusive 50-seated capacity venue, to be occupied by The Craft Beer Social Club, features a spacious pub area and secluded courtyard. Guests will be treated to table service by the friendly hosts, so no more getting up to the bar for a drink! Guests can sit, relax and choose their beer in the vibrant surrounds of fellow craft beer lovers.

If you are interested in being further educated on beers, beer styles, beer history and how to taste beer, The Craft Beer Social Club also runs a series of beer tasting events at the Pop-up Pub.
