We are holding the Inaugural "Low Country Oyster Festival" at Club 76 The Lodge. 2349 Mehaffey Bridge Rd. North Liberty, Ia. 52317 This is a fundraiser for a great veterans charity - The Wounded Warriors. We will be serving oysters raw on the half shell, japanese style or boil in low country spices. If oysters aren't your bag then Low Country Boil with shrimp, crab, corn, sausage and potatoes may be. Tickets may be purchased in advance. $15 will get you a dozen oysters and a glass of stout. $20 will buy you some low country boil and a glass of stout. The glass will be yours to keep. Will have raffles for some very rare beers. On tap will be a 2012 Stone Imperial Stout, The Brooklyn Brewery World Gold Winner Chocolate Stout, Boulevard Brewing Company Imperial Stout aged in Bourbon Barrels. All proceeds to benefit Wounded Warriors.

Thanks to Tallgrass Brewing Co. For the donation of a keg of Buffalo Sweat and Cigar City for the raffle donation of a bottle Hunahpu Imperial Stout, Marshal Zhukov's Imperial Stout, The Gates of hell Baltic Porter and Imperial Cream Porter that is set for release over a month away. Oysters are limited so if you are thinking about coming you need to RSVP.
