April Brews Day

Imagine an entire marketplace full of over 80 different, delicious microbrews. This is what the Max Higbee Center is providing Whatcom County with at 5:30pm on Saturday April, 26 at the Depot Market Square, April Brews Day. 40 local and regional brewers have been confirmed and will be available at the downtown Bellingham Depot Market Square for tasting pleasure.

April Brews Day is the largest fundraiser for the Max Higbee Center, a nonprofit organization that works to provide recreational opportunities for teens and adults with developmental disabilities.

Confirmed brewers include Boundary Bay, Georgetown, Ninkasi, Aslan, Atlas, Chuckanut, Harvester, Foggy Noggin, Kulshan, Pike, Wander, Birdseye and Oskar Blues.

General admission tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased at Boundary Bay Brewery, Chuckanut Brewery, Kulshan Brewery, Community Food Co-op), Village Books, Maggie’s Pub in Ferndale or by contacting the Max Higbee Center. Admission includes a collectable tasting glass and scrip/ticket for tasting.

A limited number of VIP tickets will be sold again this year. VIP admission provides an extra hour before the event starts for intimate tasting with the brewers and 7 scrip for tasting. VIP tickets are $40 and can be purchased at Boundary Bay Brewery, Chuckanut Brewery, Kulshan Brewery, Community Food Co-op, Village Books, or by contacting the Max Higbee Center.

Additional beer samples, food from local vendors, and merchandise from the brewers will be available for purchase.
