Good Water, Great Beer Series: "Make & Take" Rain Barrel Workshop

What: Educational

When: Saturday - April 19, 2014 @ 10:00AM to Saturday - April 19, 2014 @ 12:00PM

Where: Fulton Beer, Minneapolis, Minnesota
Do you enjoy great free beer? How about clean water and a healthy environment? If so, join us at Fulton Brewery to build your own rain barrel!

Not only will you bring home a ready-to-install rain barrel (valued at $80) but we’ll throw in a Fulton beer (normally $5)! You'll also learn what you can do to help protect clean water at home and in your yard. Make your yard river-friendly and bring home your own ready-to-go rain barrel.

The workshop will begin with a presentation on how home lawn and garden practices impact our waters and how we can make a difference. We’ll discuss the watershed-friendly benefits of rain barrels in more detail, then review how to build them, incorporate them into your yard, install and maintain them. With guidance from FMR and Fulton staff, participants will then build a rain barrel to take home, but not before enjoying a free beer from our friends at Fulton Brewery.

Event capacity is limited and registration is required ($30). A link to registration is available at this URL: http://fmr.org/participate/events/rainbarrel-2014-04-19.

We hope you can make it!
