Vibe is eh, the store is small, sparsely decorated, mostly just racks of beer. Which makes it nice to drop in and grab what you want, but doesn't make you want to stay long. Staff seemed knowledgeable and somewhat friendly. Selection, though, certainly made up for everything else. Really good selection of local and bigger national brands.
Timing can be weird with them, though. My wife stopped by one day when they said they would have an event selling some beers they had stashed away or recently gotten in. They started to sell the bottles well in advance of the time they had set on their Facebook event, and while they still had some when the event time started, if the craft scene grows in Harrisonburg this lack of timeliness could cause future problems.

Went for the Resolute release so there were several hundred people in attendance. Despite that, customer service was fantastic. Didn't have to wait long in line for a beer, they rotated through special kegs fast enough to keep the lines at bay and had plenty on tap of Resolute, it's variants both this and previous years. The interior is quite nice, good seating selection. Staff was friendly, attentive, could hardly tell that they were holding a big release. Guest taps were great, included beers from Aslin (Master of Karate), Veil (White Ferrari), Triple Crossing (Battle Creek), and Ocelot, among others.

Right outside the center of lively Burlington situated along the waterfront. I was there on a perfectly warm Fall day and the city was teeming with activity.
Great walk to the brewery along the beautiful waterfront park. Showed up right at opening so there were only a handful of people. Punk rock coming from the speakers, long bar stretched around towards the left, small section straight ahead for purchases. I lucked into leftover four packs from the previous day’s release.
Nice staff; received a sample of their wild ale Crescent Ship which was damn tasty. Bummed that no bottles were available for purchase.
Small food station outside manned by a couple churning out modern twists on bar food. Great vibe, chill and excellent surroundings.
Will be curious to see how the waterfront area evolves. As Burlington builds up I’m sure there will be a greater appetite to use some of the open space around the brewery, including the ground-level parking lot, i.e. Portland, ME. Should be enjoyed while it’s there.

Rustic little building adjacent to brewery. There is a small foyer before entering the taproom which is about 25 x 40. The 8 foot long bar is along the left hand wall as one enters the room, and there are makeshift tables of planked barrels around the room. There were 6 beers on tap when I was there along with bottles and 4 packs of cans for sale. I was somewhat dismayed that they would not fill growlers of the beers they had in cans, nor sell single cans. There was a good sized crowd, and there was a steady stream of people coming and going while I was there.

Nicely appointed building and grounds. Very well maintained and prosperous. Food was decent, although not outstanding. Honestly, it seemed too upscale for a brewery-guesthouse. Their beer is ok, the food is decent, but there are others I like better.

Waitstaff was super cool and knowledgeable. Food was excellent and fresh. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that it’s pricey, but hey..a really good time!

Fun place, seems like a lot of locals. Beers were awesome, great new ish brewery nailing styles. Good growler filling. For pours either 2 5oz pours for $5 or a 10oz for $5, so even. Good pricing.
Nice looking bar, view of the small brewery. Crisp clean walls with just their own merch hanging from it. Light classic rock in the background. Friendly patrons. 8 taps all their own beers, and a good variety, blueberry kolsch, Scottish ale, tripel, quad, blond, NEIPA, chili stout, and amber, all on at the same time.
Staff is also friendly and knowledgeable. Def had a fun time, and I'll come back when I have a chance.

Nice little place right in the middle of town. Excellent selection of beers on tap and in bottles.
Food is bar food with the usual twists that all places offer nowadays. Had a burger and fries.
Excellent collection of whiskeys as well.

This place is very large, it has two separate bars and plenty of seating. 66 beers on tap and you'd be hard pressed to find a bad one. This place has the best tap list I have ever seen anywhere. Service was excellent the bartender was very knowledgeable. I ate, but although I wanted to like it I wasn't that crazy about the food. If you are within hours of this place it is well worth the drive. This place has so many one offs on tap from state breweries and very hard to find beers from around the country. This place is flat out spectacular if you are a beer lover.

Stopped in here for a bite after leaving WhistlePig Distillery. Sat at bar and ordered Super Session #8 from the decent taplist of mostly VT craft. Fish and chips were more than decent. Nice atmosphere and staff. Would definitely go again.

Well #1 they hate TVs. Well not really but they prefer individual interaction with various card decks & Cribbage boards. It is in an industrial area of Arlington across from the local airport. They have a schedule of food trucks and an area for outdoor seating in the parking lot. Inside, open seating area with the vats in the back. Very good beer with a good selection. Notice they have whiskey barrels with beer aging. Great place to relax and try some good beer. Is on my short list to go back.

Definite sports bar feel. Not necessarily a bad thing, but with so many well-done breweries in the immediate area, the Riverbend ambience was a little disappointing. Service was excellent. Waitress was engaging and knowledgeable. Good food menu. Enjoyed the Riverbend Sando. Nothing to rave about, but it was a good sandwich. Beers are excellent. Wide selection with plenty of variety. Overall good experience and will return.

Don't let the neighborhood deter you. Geno's is a diamond in the rough. Plenty of 3 Floyd's and Pipeworks to be had here, and service is great. They recently remodeled the store, and installed a new floor. There is a great restaurant across the street, White Pearl, which has exceptional pad thai. A short drive from the Grand Victoria,

What a great spot. Exceptional tap list, full or small pours of everything, coolers full of interesting stuff to go. Super welcoming staff, couldn't have been nicer. Prices a little high but not out of line for the location. Didn't have a long stay due to business reasons but a can't miss beer spot in SF to be sure.

Tasty sausages and sides, excellent draft list mixing mikkeller brews and great guests, exceptional and expensive bottle list. Staff is friendly, attentive and welcoming. Clientele on a Friday night was pretty bad though, screaming throngs of tech bros and so on. Suppose that goes with the territory. Prices on the higher side but not the outlandish or even surprising. As a nyc guy this was par for the course.

I almost always enjoy going to a brewery, and this was no exception. Good food, nice vibe, great beer (some in under looked styles which we're quite nice), and truly fantastic service. I have not had this much fun since the Second Defenestration of Prague

Been here several times. Their beer selection is abundant, most of which is brewed on premise and very good. Lots of very well done IPA’s and many other excellent choices and styles. The food here is just as good. Many choices with several possibilities. If you like an aggressive IPA and some good grub, make a stop here. I will be back.

Preface - finally hit my limit with the hipster too cool for school vibe. I'm not a "local" but we are in the greater Portland area so we get down to Alberta once or twice a month. I know my beer and I'm easy going, not demanding or pretentious. A big part of enjoying a beer is the location. Warm, inviting, good service and good company. Otherwise, drink a pint of Pliny in a cold basement with the lights off if that's your jam. The beer and food are good, no issues there, but I'm not a fanboy. It's the service and attitude are dreadful. I've been in about a dozen times since they opened. Was actually there on opening night when the owners did a invite only bottle share. Since then, every time we've been in the staff has not been welcoming or accomodating. They need a course in customer service. A few times we waited, seated at the bar on a night when it was less than half full, while the bartender talked with friends, checked their phone, poured a few beers for the waitress and finally said, "You want something to drink?" Um, yes, it's why we've been sitting here for the last ten minutes looking at you. As well, general seating issues when the place is less than half full, looks of distain from staff when asked about wait times ( "20-30 minutes, hard to say, you can wait by the door" seriously? and careful if you are there 30 minutes before close on a slow night - almost like they are chasing you out. Just sick of the surly attitude. If you are a regular, maybe you don't have these issues - I say good for you. For others looking to check them out, don't hold your breathe. No, I don't have a beard, only have one flannel and don't Instagram my beers but my dollar spends just as good at any one of the many other Portland breweries that have good beer, good food AND good customer service.

We hit Joe Jost’s after a visit to Steinfillers. My first time here, but it has been on my target list for a long time. Not a craft beer joint but VERY cold beer served in VERY cold schooners in a nostalgic location. Their special sausage sandwich & an ice cold Busch with pickled eggs (the best) was a great combination at a place that has thrived since the 1920’s. Definitely worth a visit to remind us all of how beer used to taste......

Cozy and inviting, Scorched Earth has a beautiful rugged and woodsy interior that will warm your spirit and wet your whistle! My husband and I travelled about an hour from home to check out this brew spot, and it definitely didn't disappoint. The beers on tap come in a variety of sizes and prices, which makes it easy to sample all the beers without filling up or breaking your budget. They also offer flights. I thought all of their beers were unique and delivered the flavor they boasted. Despite the house being completely packed, the two girls working behind the counter stayed friendly and helpful, and we never waited long for our glasses to be re-filled. We took home a growler of the limited production "Wet Willie" but also enjoyed their main selection, such as the easy to drink "Hickster".

Co-op brewery/brewpub in the home of The Bomb. Beers are named after scientists, Cold War, and local landmarks. The Hoppenheimer IPA is world class. This is what Los Alamos needed for years and kudos to those who had the co-op idea and the initial investor community. Consistent in improvement of the pub and variety of product. The Stout Festival is an annual event.

This place is usually a beer venue during Kalamazoo Beer Week so I figured that the beer selection would be pretty good. I also thought that it was going to be a college dive bar, but neither assumption proved correct. There are 12 taps (mostly craft) and another 20-25 beers in bottles/cans (many of these are macros), but none of the craft beers were notable. And instead of a college dive, this place is a definite sports bar with TVs hanging all around the walls with mostly different sports on every one of them. The food menu was a good one, and we liked the choices that we had, but it's sports bar food. So if you want to come here knowing that it is a sports bar with decent beers and food, this is your place. Now that I know, I'd come back again.

Got there on a Friday ten minutes before they opened, parked at a meter literally right in front of their entrance and STILL wasn't the first one inside when they opened at 4PM. Say something for their local patronage.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Crowlers to-go only, and I grabbed 5 of them but can't review them here yet as they're too new. The only ding I have for them is that a 3-tap selection is a bit limited - but so far every one I've tried is very good.
Opening at 4pm on a weekday in Oxford is smart as they're on the main drag which gets notoriously congested during the rush hour. Their crosstown competitor didn't open until 6PM, but I bolted because I didn't want to deal with that traffic in the dark.
