Bolt Brewery - Little Italy

This location is in the far end of Little Italy. It's nice, cool small spot to grab a beer with friends. They have a window counter, bar area, and tables with some merchandise for purchase.

I tried a taster of three beers, they were nice. All house beers, no guest taps. They did have wine available.

Service was prompt and friendly. It's nice to have another place to visit in the area.

This place is on the small side, but the very narrow aisles pack a good selection. The place is kind of cramped, even a bit messy. There is a solid selection of craft 6 and 12 packs, a decent bomber selection, and a small number of beers on the mix a 6 shelf. Imports section also seemed a bit small. The young man working there was friendly and helpful. Overall a decent store, the one big downside are the prices. Much higher than I am used to paying here in PA, and that's saying something.

Loved this place. Great space, but the people and service put it over the top. We visited while on vacation with our two pre-K kids. The staff spoiled the girls and were engaging and accommodating. My only want is that they had a true IPA on tap. Otherwise, the beers were solid. Their Kolsch was the standout. You could tell that the Brewery was point of pride for the community and we will certainly return if ever down this way again.

What a great time. The crowd and the atmosphere for a limited release was so awesome. This place was packed and it was definitely worth the wait in line. The beer that we tried while was out of this world and the staff was so helpful. This is one place that I will be visiting every time i go back home to visit family

If you like sours and wild ales, this is your heaven. Their repertoire shows a wonderful range within that particular style, and everything that I've tasted is a well-developed well-crafted end product. This is my current favorite place in Pittsburgh to drink beer, where this style is not that popular, and hard to come by. My only complaint is that they don't have much for you if sour is not your thing.

interesting place in an unlikely spot..dark, but friendly and inviting little spot...about 1/2 way between the LIRR station and the Fire Island ferry docks...they do upscale cocktails, tapas small plates for food and stock an eclectic and boutiquey range of tap options...on my visit it was one from other half, one from grimm, plus victory, barrier, firestone, duclaw, ommegang, and left hand..they respect beer here and you will find a worthy brew or two...friendly and informative dude behind the bar...

It feels like you are hanging out in someone's garage. It's very simple decor with the exception of a cool stained glass window. It's so small you can't help but get to know everyone on the bar. They do a cool flight shaped like a circle. They have six beers on tap with some seasonal varities. No food. Nothing fancy. But a cool place to grab a cold draft.

Only been open for a few months. Can see Mt McKinley from the main room on a good day. Rooftop overlooks the city and also the northern view toward Denali. Brew house is glasses in, set behind the bar, giving you a great bar room atmosphere. Tap list includes ales, lagers, and small batches. Service is great, with lots of bartenders who are knowledgable about the area. Descent gift shop. They have growler and crowler (32oz can) options to take home.

When you walk in, you are slammed with amazing hop smell. Beers are their beers - nothing to complain about.

Colorful, cool, friendly, awesome

After going all over Syracuse to find quality and unique beers, this was definitely THE place to go!
Store owner was EXTREMELY helpful and knowledgeable, and excited to talk to beer enthusiasts (had to remind him of customers who were heading to the cash to pay since he was so happy to help us out and make recommendations).

Very good selection of local, national and imported beers, including many that are not for sale in anything other than 4 packs in any other store. Quality finds throughout the store, including many that were only found in that store.

Prices were more than fair and seemed to have fresh beer (nothing that had been left on the shelves for too long).

Definitely worth the drive to go there, even for myself who came all the way down from Canada.

Review of the new location - a few years new, but the current BA picture is of the old location.

If you are looking for the widest selection of German beer with some oddities as well, then I would head to the German Gourmet. Unfortunately I am always a bit suspect of the imports and my quality rating reflects that, especially since most imports do not have some sort of date stamp.

Even a better place to get your fix on German food.

I was on vacation and visited Monterey with family and decided to stop at Sante Adairus Rustic Ales on our way back north to Fremont. The interior is small but cool with art and different types of seating like a long table or barrel to sit and drink next to. the selection is very good with stout, wild ale, IPA and barrel aged beer represented and the quality is very high in the choices I was able to sample. I found the Service both to be efficient and friendly I recommend this place to anyone who likes full flavored and intense yet well crafted beer. I was able to purchase 3 750ml bottles for take out of Brett Saison which was a nice bonus.

On Washington Circle, this place has bar seating + table seating for about 30 (plus Summer outdoor seating). We stopped in around 4:30pm for the Happy Hour prices (but it was a $42 bill for 2 burgers + 2 shakes + 1 beer). Many nights there is a long line for service. Most patrons are GWU students, which is one block away. The burgers were flavorful, but sloppy to eat falling apart. Shakes are their stand-out feature. My wife's was too sweet for me, but mine was stepped in Jameson Whiskey! They have a good variety of about 20 beer taps. Overall, pretty solid. But for Happy Hour value, the Bier Baron Tavern (6 block walk due North) is a fantastically better deal.

Rock and roll beer heaven (if you like old school punk) on the radio! Fabulous graphics on the wall, and attentive bar staff. I ate lunch at the bar and the service was spot on. The burger and parm. fries were gourmet quality. And the beer flight was delicious and it's hard to not like fresh ZombieDust on tap. Plenty of parking (I drive a small RV). Beers to go by the case as well. A first rate brewery/beer pub!

My first visit. Have heard good things about it and needed to check it out. Nice and new looking building in "downtown" Cedar Springs. This city needs a nice place to go and eat and drink. It got one. Great helpful service and open to suggesting favorites. Food was amazing. Really. Beer was delicious and mostly true to style. Thought was really put into creating these beers. Overall, it was a great place that I'll go back to time and time again.

Canton is a big improvement in every department except for the vibe. Still got that clean, professional Trillium atmosphere, but the office park setting is a little lacking compared to Fort Point. Still, the expansive bottle and can list, great customer service, and new taproom makes this a major improvement for Trillium.

Located in SOMA, off Howard – Cellarmaker doesn’t have a lot of signage up and if you don’t pay attention, you could pass by it on accident. Once inside there’s a small tasting room that features about six house selections. Cellarmaker tends to focus on hoppier beers, though their stouts and porters are also quite tasty. The staff is pretty attentive and service is quick. Downside is the tasting room is small and usually packed, meaning seating can be a challenge.

Divey local bar that has not great service or decor, but the pale style beers are surprisingly good. Had the pale ale and it was fine - while the Storm Surge IPA and Ruckus DIPA were legitimately good west coast style IPAs. Nitro stout was slightly above average

Was a big open space. Lots of tables. Lots of standing area. Patio open too. They play metal, not my thing at all. But not played terribly loud. Was there about noon on a weekday, not many there which there probly shouldn't be. Beers are great quality. Served in proper glass. 7-8 taps of their beers and a guest. The beers are really good. You figure out from trying any beer pretty much, these guys know how to make beer. Service, fine. Was checked on regularly and they were nice. Food was real good. Got poutine and loved it.

I stopped in for a couple pints since our place for the vacation we were on was only about 2/10's of a mile away. The place is not huge but I found two entrances and took the one leading to the bar area. There is brewing and fermentation equipment behind the bar to give you an idea of the size -there was an area for lagering with fermenters at the end. You get the impression the place has been there for a while based on the décor and the beers I tried were good or very good. The service was friendly and attentive and I would have been back except it was my first trip to Tahoe and had lots of places to check out, I did not try the food but the pizza looked tasty.

Solid place all around and the most comprehensive selection of craft beers the downtown area has ever had. I happen to live and work about 5 blocks from here so its nice and convenient for me too. The hours have changed a little since the Summer started as it is no longer open for lunch on weekdays. I believe it doesn't open until 1 pm on weekends either.

The decor is about 10 times nicer than it was when it was the Stadium and Mc Faddens and let's hope it ultimately lasts a lot longer than those two places did. Nice hard woods, wide open and very clean with great air-conditioning too. There are a bunch of things I really like about Ginger Man such as: the fabulous selection that rotates pretty well. The attention to detail on cleanliness of tap lines and the free of soap residue glassware. The fact that it doesn't seem to get the obnoxious bar crawl crowds or big groups of clueless tourists that seem to be so prevalent around downtown on weekends and the lack of lousy cover bands playing the same old songs that they all play around here every single day of the week.

The staff are very pleasant and really know their beers pretty well. I have had the food a few times and it is pretty solid too. I like this one even better than the Manhattan location. I hope I didn't let the cat out of the bag-- as while I very much want this place to succeed , I like the fact that it isn't a mob scene most of the times I have tried to stop by. Also. the pricing on the beers can be a tad high--kind of to be expected for good quality but I did think $12.50 for the Freshy salt & pepper and the Hitachinos nest one I had was a little much.

Located a few miles away from the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter this place is a nice change of pace from Bourbon Street.
There is a downstairs bar with their full draught list, and an upstairs bar with a few less beers but a nice seating area and outside patio. Downstairs shares space with a nice BBQ joint, and has some restaurant-style seating, but space can get a little tight near the bar because its the first thing you see when you walk in. Upstairs was completely open when we arrived, and we had the bar all to ourselves. Though not as many taps as downstairs, they had their small batch beers available, as well as quite a few can and bottle options. Bartender was super nice, and seemed to enjoy being there (which is always nice). There are 2 tv's up there, board games, and a photo booth.
Beer ranged from sub-par to quite good (a range you see from many breweries), however it was the best I had while there (in a land ruled by Abita and macro).
We got Uber to and from, so didn't have to worry about parking, but it was real easy to get to - though I wouldn't walk there from the French Quarter. All in all, it was a real nice experience and you should definitely check it out if you're in the area.
