Visited with Da Boss on 7-11-25 after landing in Calgary late this morning.
Vibe inside the taproom was pretty rustic, legit comfy taproom feel. The bar seating was for maybe 6 along with some tables. The star today was the beautiful patio ringed with flowers, and plenty of tables with sun umbrellas.
Quality of the beers was good, as the Alberta Crude Oatmeal stout was very good and Da Boss enjoyed her blonde ale.
Service was top notch as the serving team was all over us despite how busy. Ordered beers from one server and our food from the primary server. Friendly and on top of things for sure!
Selection was pretty light with maybe 8 taps. It is a smaller local so i get the brewery team wants to keep brews relatively fresh.
Food was excellent as i had the brisket Rueben with a very good side of Brocolli Slaw and Da Boss had a tasty chicken sandwich.
Overall definitely worth a stop if you are in the area!

Stopped here because of traffic congestion and an incoming hail storm. It seemed everyone else was too, place was packed but service didn't suffer that much. I did a flight and beers were good to very good. It was in a different location... if I can recall it was near an army base. Go figure. Well on a Saturday night there are worse places to be and would consider going back when in Calgary.

The food was excellent, my G/F raved about the 2 food things she ordered. I enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich for $12.95. The beer selection was great as well. The only beers they sell are their own of course which is ok. I went to try the seasonal Gose, too bad they were sold out of the bottles of it or I would have taken some home. I'll be going back.

I've been to the Wildrose brewery a number of times and I've thoroughly enjoyed every one. Heck, the wonderful staff at Wildrose gave me my first brewery tour for my 19th birthday and it was fantastic. The staff here is very knowledgeable in the beer department and arn't afraid to share if you have any questions. It's also nice that you can only get their wonderful and tasty Oatmeal Stout here; gives everyone a great excuse to stop on in. The atmosphere is really fantastic as the brewery is located in an old airplane hanger right beside the old army barracks in Calgary. The prices are great, especially for the beer considering its brewed right on site and is perfectly fresh. Staff do a great job recommending food pairings and they have a vast assortment of creatively crafted dishes (not just pub fair - no deep fryer here!)
The bottom line is, if you live in Calgary and have never been to Wildrose call them today and book a tour. After enjoying the tour, grab a pint (or two) and then leave with a Party Pig (basically a larger, uniquely pressurized version of a growler...) each with its own original name. Support our local craft. They're great at what they do.

I'm not sure how I've never reviewed this place or how I'm the first one to do so but here we go... I've been here many times and it's one of my favorite places to visit in Calgary. located in an old air plane hanger its a pretty cool setting for a brew pub, you sit in the restaurant able to look into the brewery from your seat. The service here is great and you can drink off the cask every Friday at 4pm sharp, arrive at 3 to ensure yourself a seat. They only serve Wild Rose brews here but that includes their Oatmeal Stout only available at the source so be sure to try a pint. The small kitchen they have pumps out large flavors, local products with pairing suggestions and forget about pub food there's no deep fryer here. Salmon Gravlax to hearty chilli, the awesome house IPA Cheddar soup to accompany a kick ass sandwich. I've also attended beer dinner's put on by these guys and Co-op (disclaimer I work for Co-op) and it's a top value for the city and showcases what the tiny kitchen can do and the beer pairings work well. I don't have many bad things to say about Tap Room other then the lack of a near by train station (parking room for bicycle's however)
