Gorgeous beer. Amber with some golden hues. Thick sticky head with excellent retention. Big piney aroma. Taste like if a spruce and a lemon had a baby. Nice crisp mouthfeel. Good take on a Holiday beer. Well done NODA.

Had on tap in pint glass at their beer garden location. Paired with chili cheese chip stolen from friend.
Clear and light amber in color. One finger head, delightful spiderwebby lacing. Smells lemony-piney. Like Pine-Sol. That's a compliment. Tastes the way pinecones smell. Also a compliment. Light-bodied and crisp. No notes. Top notch beer.

16 ounce can poured into a tumbler style pint glass.
Canned 10/29/20
L: One finger of white creamy foam, leaves lace and has great retention, golden-orange and almost clear.
S: Subtle but nice citrus and pine.
T: Starts zesty and sweet and moves to a dry, bitter finish.
F: Creamy medium weight body.
O: Well done, nice take on the spiced Christmas brew.

Hazy burnt orange with a lot of floaters and two fingers of antique white head. Great retention and thick lacing.
Modest aroma of orange and pine at a month-and-a-half old.
Sweet orange and pine up front in the taste with a little sugar cookie mid-palate and a traditionally bitter finish.
Medium bodied with solid carbonation.
Very tasty, well-balanced beverage. Love the sugar cookie sweetness with the strongly bitter finish.

Orange beer with a sticky white head. Smells like candied orange and pine. Tastes like oranges, candy, pine. Very sweet and piney. Medium mouthfeel. Nice holiday beer.

Look: kind of pale for an IPA, but good amber hue.
Smell: Christmas. Piney, but in a good way.
Taste: a mellow blend of citrus and pine. Not overpowering with either, and the bitter balances the two flavors. It is hard describe, but incredible works.
Overall: it is unfortunate this is not offered year round. NODA makes the best Carolina IPAs and this is the best of their creations.
