Small place but a neat one. Came on a MNF with Seattle playing and was really fun. Server was attentive and always helping everyone. Wide array of taps so there is bound to be one for you.

i was super impressed with this place, what an unexpected treasure. i had only had one of their beers before stopping by, but it was good enough to get me here. the place is tucked into a little warehouse industrial space area off the highway, so when i walked into a festively decorated and cozy little tiny taproom, i was shocked and thrilled. i think they have been here for quite awhile now, and the place feels well lived in. some wooden features, tables packed pretty tight together, and a massive chalkboard beer menu, i was blown away how much beer they had on tap, and some really ambitious barrel offerings in the mix as well. as good as their hoppy stuff is, they definitely are much more than a one trick pony. i sat at the bar, which seems to occupy about a third of their total space, this place really is tiny! i had three beers, all of which were excellent. my favorite was batch 201, a decidedly modern ipa, but i also liked the electric slide double ipa, and a curious slightly funky belgian dark strong ale in whiskey barrels for years. there really is something for everyone here. the service was great, other patrons were cool, the prices were insanely fair, and this is a place to put on the map! i know there are ton of breweries in the area now, lots of select between, but on this side of town, these guys are hands down my favorite so far. the beers were excellent and the humble space was mellow and fun. great spot!

This is a nice little tap room. Twelve beers on tap with another from the cask. Friendly service. The theme is guitar, guitar, guitar and music; from the decor to the beer names. I had a porter and pale ale. The Arpeggio Pale Ale was outstanding. The place seems to be popular with a local crowd. The owners seemed to know almost everyone by name as they came in.

I stopped at the taproom for a couple of pints and a growler fill after work.
12 String is in an industrial complex off of Pines in the Spokane Valley. Atmosphere is nice for a taproom. There is seating for 12 at the bar, and about 10 high tables, as well as a few tables in a patio area just outside the front door. Total seating for about 60 I guess. Flat screen TV. The place is nicely painted and decorated with the guitar theme. They have a lot of gear shirts glassware etc. for sale The place is kind of noisy when more than about half full or so.
The quality is very good. I have had Twelve String brews around town, and at a beer fest, and they are all quite good.
The service was a little slow. The bar keep didn't seem to be real attentive. I sat dead center of the bar for about 5 minutes and finally had to speak to get his attention.
The selection included 11 Twelve String taps, with 5 wines and a cider selection.
Food I did not try, but it was limited. Choices were a hummus plate, meat and cheese plate, peanuts, chips and salsa.
For value I would like to say it's reasonable, and in some ways it is. Some pints were $4 with is a good price these days, but some were $5 which I wouldn't really expect in a taproom. The growler fill was $17 and that seems steep to me. But again the quality is quite good and the place had a pretty good crowd for a Friday afternoon, so whatever the market will bear.
Twelve String isn't exactly on my beaten path, so I doubt visits to the tap room will be very common. But it's worth a stop if you are out that way.
