Have been to Loowit Brewing a few times over the years. The food and beer have always been good to very good and a good vibe to the place. It can get a little crowded at times depending upon the time of day. They just opened a taphouse in East Vancouver which we tried about 3 months ago and it also was really good. At the brewery location there is a great BBQ place next door which you can take the food into the brewery or at least you use to be able too.

I was able to stop by during a recent trip to Vancouver. I have a buddy that has moved to Vancouver and this is one of his favorite places.
It was damp and raining the night we went so the garage style door was closed and instead we entered in the bar area. There is a small L shaped bar that seats maybe 10 and then a few smaller and a few larger community type tables.
The back room is larger with more seating including some picnic tables. They had a cool band starting at 8 p.m. I wish I would have had more time as I liked the music (played a decent volume, BTW).
The back room also contained the bathroom, darts and brewing area. I wonder if the tunes help the beer as it sits in the tanks?
They had a nice sized crowd that was there for both the beer and the music.
Speaking of beer, I really enjoyed their Shadow Ninja IPA. They had at least 6 house beers on tap.
The server was friendly and was quick with our beers.
I plan on stopping back.
