Our Brewpub is way cooler than any other brewpub on the face of the whole entire planet Earth. Why? Because our Pub is located in the 100 yr old City Jail building where Seaside's good, bad, and the unlucky were housed since the building was completed back in 1914. Our delicious beers are crafted onsite, and our taps come right out of the old jail cell that once served as the city's drunk tank and occasional women's cell. You can still sit at the bar and listen to the old timers sitting next to you drinking beer and telling the stories of how they got thrown into the old jail cell for drinking too much beer...that they are now drinking beer out of. It’s known as the circle of life, and it makes us giggle on the insides. We used all reclaimed woods and brick to bring the building back to life and there is no better place to eat and drink and be merry on the Oregon Coast than here with us in Seaside at the old City Jail.

Was there a couple of times. Enjoyed it so that's why I went back. Located on Broadway (The Main Street) through town just off Hiway 101. First time we went there the weather was a little overcast so stayed inside. The second time we were outside, the weather was nicer. Good food and friendly staff.

Visited on 08.22.18 while on a day trip to the coast with my brother-in-law and his family. Unique spot with a cool vibe. Nice patio out front (we sat out there). Fairly wide spectrum of styles available, which I found surprising/refreshing (they even had a barleywine available). Quality exceeded my expectations. An enjoyable experience all the way around- Worth a stop if you're in the area.

Cool old repurposed jail from the early 1900s, lost of old brick and iron. L-shaped bar opposite the entrance on the left is half seating, half service. Some tables inside and on the patio out front. Upstairs was closed due to short staffing. A dozen beers on tap. Fish tacos were excellent.

Loved the vibe of this place, re purposed classic jail turned brewery. The history is all over the walls, and oddly enough the bathrooms were my favorite part of this place. LOVE THE HUGE GLASS BLOCKS! Marionberry hefe is next level.

Our party of ten arrived after a birthday afternoon at the beach. No greeting, but that's ok I'm resourceful. The place was a little sleepy, but the bartender was working the whole place by herself. We found a table for our gaggle after checking in.

Ambiance is clean and a little rustic/woody.

Seaside gets a 5/5 for beer selection in the taproom: I find their beers to be somewhat run-of-the-mill, but they had a fantastic dopplebock from Buoy and the Duchesse de Bourgogne as their guest taps that day. I had the Buoy and their red (Seaside's best offering IMO), brother-in-law had their blonde and said it was 'Good' and I brought the Duchesse home in a growler. I also had a taste of their imperial stout when I was getting the growler filled, which I would have a full glass of another day to get a better feel for it.

Food was average, nothing special. Overall good experience, would visit again (if only to bring another growler to maybe hit on a special guest tap!)

last time we went we were told it would take ~1 hour to get food because the kitchen was so backed up...appreciated the honestly but seemed pretty poorly run and overwhelmed. hopefully it is better now. ended up just trying a couple beers and leaving...will give it another shot next time i am in town.

Stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon in November. Had a single beer, their in-house Red Ale. I loved it - pretty impressive for a start-up. Also tasted their even newer IPA. It was OK.

The interior is warm and inviting. Service was quick - though I sat at the bar and there were only about 7 other customers there. Good first impression. They also had about 10 other offerings on tap...all good choices, but it was their own beer that I was after. I'll be back.
