Permutation 26 presents an opaque deep black color. The nose reveals an interesting mix of roasty, chocolate, and dark pretzel aromas paired with notes of pine and an inviting floral scent. The palate follows with flavors of dried apricot, pine, juniper and a light roast character. Smooth, light bitterness, and a dry mouthfeel round out this Black IPA.

L - Black body and a finger of almond-colored head
S - Complex aroma of coffee, chocolate, oranges, pineapple, cherries, pine, and sap
T - A superb balance of both the roast and juicy hops. Pine bitterness throughout with lots of coffee, but orange citrus finishes each sip.
F - Full body and no alcohol. Smooth and crisp texture.
O - Might be the best Black IPA I've ever had. Was able to bring out the best qualities of both the citrus and the roast, but citrus was bigger and helped make drinkability a breeze. This one needs to make a return.
