Permutation is our experimental series of small batch offerings, showcasing the unique visions and innovative concepts developed by our brewing and cellar crew.
Permutation 39 is a Double IPA brewed with lactose that delivers a hazy golden orange hue. A rush of fresh cut pineapple, orange and a sweet Mosaic hop nose set the tone, while the flavor of oranges and grapefruit pith meld into a honey character and creamy, full mouthfeel on the finish.
ABV: 8%
MALT: 2 Row, Honey Malt, Lactose
HOPS: Galaxy, Mosaic

16oz can dated 5/16/18.
Pours murky gold with a short-lived head of white. Minimal retention or lacing. Somewhat hoppy in the nose with some sweet malt, faded for sure. Light tropicals and dripping with honey sweetness. On the fuller side of medium bodied with a syrupy, tacky mouthfeel. Quite sweet on the palate with sugar-dusted citrus. Zero bitterness but a bit of malt. Finishes sweet, syrupy, and just not up to the expected hop level I'd expect from a Trill IIPA.

Can. Hazy sunset orange.
Very juicy. Tropical with a little citrus. Orange and mango. Light alcohol showing but not bad for a double. The lactose makes this a bit creamier and softer. No bitterness. Really nice.
