Very cool brewpub with outdoor patio, laid back vibe and excellent beers. Highly recommend the flagship IPA.

Small brewery with an outdoor area. Kinda quiet inside and out, I ended up playing some music on my phone for our table only for some background music while we played a word game they had there. Beer was good, my son really loved the craft soda too!

Cool little taproom located just off the main part of downtown, Nice patio and laid back atmosphere to the place.
Around 7 beers available during my visit. Tried the IPA which was fine but not really memorable & the Brown Ale which was quite good and not just some random after-thought like some other places.
Pricing was decent. Staff very friendly, loose with the samples, even got a great recommendation for a place to eat in town.
Definitely worth a visit if in the area.

Small, but friendly with a good crowd on an early Friday afternoon. 10 beers on tap. I liked the Mt Zion IPA. You can get beers in 5, 12, or 15 oz, or a pitcher for $15.

Nice place to stop for a beer. Seems to be pretty popular with the locals and conveniently located for out of towners too. Beer selection was pretty good, but two of the beers I was hoping to try were not available. Food truck was pretty cool - wild game themed. Also has a dog friendly beer garden.

Cool local brewery. Had the rye stout, loved it. Nice porch/patio area. Inside is a little cold and sterile, but the staff is friendly and nice. Good place.

Family friendly and that includes your dog. Very laid back atmosphere. Food truck and hangout area is pretty cool. Texas needs some establishments like this.
Beer selection was pretty good and the IPA (don't remember the name) was delicious!

This is so far my all time favorite Gay Friendly Brewery in Denver/golden. The couples who run this place are very open and invite the community with open arms. They are originally from Texas and California, two of the best places to learn how to brew beer.

This place has really solid beers, a helpful/friendly staff, and the vibe is awesome in Golden at their tasting room. Their outdoor seating area is great, with views of the surrounding foothills, and there was a great food truck parked right in their sideyard the evening we were their. The Infra-Red IPA was delicious - plenty of hops and piney aroma, but balanced very nicely.

Visited Mountain Toad twice on a recent visit to Golden, CO. Nice crowd, friendly patrons and staff. Dog friendly too. There was a different food truck each day I visited. The bathrooms were clean. Local artists had pieces on the walls. I didn't eat, but both of the beers I had were good. A small batch mango IPA and the regular IPA. Inviting seating inside and out, but it was a bit cramped at times.
I spoke with Brian, one of the four owners. He was very friendly and engaging. He offered some history and informed me that they had been open for a little bit over one year. He explained that they see themselves as a true public house - where all are welcome. It did seem that many people knew each other - giving the place a real community feel. Reading some of the older reviews makes me think they have fixed some of the early complaints. I had a great time - no complaints!

great spot that has been open about a year right in downtown golden. groovy artsy newish taproom with a lot of outdoor seating. great vibe outside there, everyone just relaxing on a weekday afternoon. maybe six or seven beers on tap, not overly diverse, but all of which were quite good. lemongrass saison and red ipa were the most impressive, but they also do a nice cream ale as well. prices were super fair here, although we may have hit happy hour and caught some deals. service was cool, i mean, one of the guys seemed a little uppity, a little like he didnt care to take the time explaining beers, had an answer for everything, but we got our beers promptly, had glasses cleared away swiftly, and were treated very well there overall. a fun place to hang out, some very cool stuff happening with their beer, and a place i will absolutely visit again. food truck outside, good energy to the place, no frills but comfortable. 10 barrel system looks brand new, nice, they should have some room to run here.

One of the four craft breweries in Golden, I've been trying to hit them all lately. This one is downtown right across the river on 9th. Good atmosphere, decent selection of house beers. I got a six glass (five ounce each) sampler for $9 which was not a bad value, I think pints were $4.50. Service was a little off as the bartender got irritated with me for asking questions, sorry its my first time and your chalkboard isn't really legible nor is it in a good location. Beers were pretty average for the most part but the IPA was decent. They had a really good food truck outside called Quiero Arepas which was more impressive than the brewery. Maybe I'll go back in a couple months and see if the beers have gotten any better.
