My favorite part is the ruthless frequency by which Dominion keeps their Facebook page updated. Especially for their growler fill station. Nobody keeps their lineup more current than Dominion. Check the digital tap list on their facebook page.
The shop is small, but they always have a superb selection of local craft and they always get fantastic rare beers in. Those rare beers may sell out immediately, but Dominion always gets them. And they always post to Facebook what they get.
Dominion was the first to offer growler fills of Adroit Theory, the first offer growler fills of Ocelot, the first to offer growler fills of Aslin of all local bottle shops.
The staff are craft beer insiders, are super friendly and well connected regionally. If you wanna bust out your craft beer whale game, this is the place to do it.

Great little store in Falls Church. Not a mega selection, but a few bottles of lots of great import beers, and large quantities of locals. Store employee was happy to talk beer, and pointed out the freshest stuff and some interesting/new picks that I might have overlooked otherwise.

This is a great spot! Stopped by while in DC to visit family and was offered samples of everything on tap for growler fills. Was given great advice on local breweries to try and picked up a few bottles.

Hands down my top place for beers in the DC Metro. While they may not be nearly as big as a Total Wine, their selection is far better. No matter what type of beer you like, they have excellent choices. They also generally have great beers on draft for growler fill (and you can also find rare one's as well). Service is top notch and they are extremely knowledgeable if you need a suggestion. Dominion is no doubt my go to.

Dominion isn't the biggest, but it is the best craft beer store in NoVa. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, 12 taps for growlers (and they know how to fill), and a constant supply of rarities and interesting beers. Cool Friday tastings. Plus they're great about posting new arrivals on social media. Definitely my go-to store.

They opened a tap room upstairs with a great selection on tap.
The shop has a very good selection. They keep their social media pages somewhat up to date including everything that is on tap.

From the first time I went to this store to just this afternoon, I have always liked this store. It keeps getting better as well. They have a great growler system and get some choice kegs for it that some bars don't event get. The owner and employees are all helpful and great guys. The Friday tastings are fun too.
The store isn't that big, but has a great well rounded selection.

Clean growler station. A nice selection of rare beers on hand and seem to strive for quality brews rather than quantity.

Best craft beer store in Northern VA. Growlers available with plenty of fresh beers on tap and a bottle selection that is very diverse. Whenever I'm in the area and in search for beer this is the spot I go to. If you talk to the guys there and get to know them they will save you a bottle or two when they get limited number craft brews in. This place is great I would highly recommend.

Great bottle shop. The growler station always has a great selection. The guys running it are great and always willing to help. The selection is top notch and the IPAs are always super fresh. It may not have the largest selection, but everything there is excellent.

Re-review 2020:
Since my initial review, they have added a bar/restaurant upstairs (and I think the growler station downstairs).
The bar/restaurant is small and does tend to get crowded, but the staff does a decent job handling this. There are only about 15 bar seats, and the lounge-like table seats 40-50 more. Th layout is a tad crowded enough you'll easily be able to get to know your neighbors. More crowded times have a host and a table wait list. During the odd times when it's not busy, the tables are first come, first serve.
The service and pretty near great selection on the 24 taps (upstairs plus 12 downstairs that is a separate POS) come at a little price, as the beers tend toward the expensive side. The food ranges from reasonable to a bit pricey, but almost everything I've had has been very good.
The downstairs hasn't changed much since my original review - a little bit more geared towards "local" breweries and new-to-the area offerings. There are 12 taps downstairs and they offer growler fills and Crowlers. This is also available at the upstairs taps, at a separate point of sale, though it should also be noted some of the breweries only allow their draft beers sold for on premises consumption.
Original, shop only review:
This is a nice fairly small shop (beer is half of the store). The selection is at least on par with other stores in the area. They have a decent selection of imports, some local bottles, and seem to get a quota of new releases. They somewhat recently added kegs for growler fills.
I've had limited interaction with the staff on selection, but when I have asked questions, they have been quite helpful. I am starting to frequent this place more and more.

Updated 3/01/22 - the food is always excellent. Their selection suffers from a NE IPA infection and an assumption that only pastry stouts matter.
Updated 12/30/18
The upstairs expansion with 20 more taps and food and seating along with an expanded selection of beers in the coolers along with great customer service makes this a go to place.
Updated on 6/27/17
V - Too small. Gets crowded fast. But bright and clean. No lollygagging at this place. 3.75
Q - Growler station equals fresh! And the smaller selection (though broad enough for me) should ensure that beers don't gather cobwebs. 3.75
Ser - Friendly and engaging. Don't forget to ask about their wine. 4.25
Sel - A real good selection. Narrow, but high quality beers. A growler station that always has a heavy selection of good local brews along with a few high profile nationally distributed beers. Not Total Wine, but you'll always fine something to take home. 4.25

Love these guys. Not a huge shop, but you can tell the guys know their beer and don't waste any shelf space with mediocre stuff. Plus, free beer samplings on Friday evening -- a perfect way to roll into the weekend!
Definitely a must-visit location for craft beer lovers in the Arlington/Falls Church area.

UPDATE TO PREVIOUS REVIEW: They have a new draft system and now offer growler fills. Growler pricing is really competitive if not better than the other shops I frequent.
As a beer lover - I decided to check out this new beer & wine store in my neighborhood. The beer selection is amazing - with a main focus on American craft beer and limited release beers. Lots of singles and the option to mix and match choices. Free beer tastings every Friday - great new addition for craft beer lovers in Falls Church.

Very knowlegable staff and full of good info for future availability of specific requests.
May be offering growler fills in the future.
Has beer tastings on Friday's
Potential to be a go to for the hard to finds.
Could become a strong player as local craft specialty shop.
Stay tuned.

I decided to stop here since there were no reviews. I figured if it ended up being a wash that I could just go somewhere else nearby.
I did not need to go elsewhere.
The space is small and limited, which has forced whoever orders things to be very deliberate in what they order and take their space up with. A better word to describe the selection: meticulous. I frankly couldn't have been more pleased with what I came upon here and I ended up with a significantly larger amount of beer than I figured I would. There may be 150 or so singles, but I found a lot of Virginia brewed beer that I was happy to pick up. I also got a bottle of Lolita. Jai Alai was there, but I opted for cans from Hardywood instead.
This is a very well put together store that's clean and a pleasure to shop at. I would be happy to return as it carries a lot of local beers, which is what I aim to purchase when visiting an area.
