This was my favorite of all the breweries I visited in Lafayette. Located in a slightly bizarre strip mall, under construction and half of it seemingly abandoned. Nothing much to look at, but the beer is tasty and they have lots of it: Berliner Weisse, Hogback DIPA. Trhopical IPA, Saison, Dubbel, Fall Coffee Stout (8.3% and a weird golden color, but tasty), Baltic Porter.

Also some good food- we had the beer brat and it was delicious. 10 different beer bombers to go as well, including barrel-aged Buckwheat imperial stout and Silver Heels English barleywine (aged in Breckenridge barrels for six months).

i liked this place, in a little shopping center or something, kind of tricky to find, but its worth it once you do! old school vibe in here, mellow lighting, relaxed seating, a long bar, and some great looking outside seating. its a cool arrangement, and the folks in here greeted me warmly when i entered. they had a nice range of beers on top, not a ton of choices, but offerings as interesting as a sour peach double ipa, a black gose with limes and fresno chilies, and a barrel aged belgian selection, so pretty impressive and ambitious list of beers here! the gose was tremendous, and the peach ipa was sweet but not bad at all, and the service was excellent. i can see some of the beers being a little amateurish in here, but i think its cool they are trying to hard to come up with something unique. relaxed as can be in here, with solid and entertaining beers, upbeat service, and really fair prices. no pretentiousness at all, honest beers, good energy. definitely worth a visit if you are making the brewery stops around lafayette!

My wife and I finally stopped here to check it out and were initially impressed with the facility. A beautiful bar, very pretty brew house that an employee told me used to be Strange's main system. The selection was pretty good with about 8 beers on tap.

I tried all 8 beers and was pretty underwhelmed. They have a good staple in their IPA and DIPA, but everything else tasted very homebrew-y. The lambic should have been dumped, as it had that horrid 'vomit' taste you get from infected (with the wrong bugs) batches. I'm going to wait a few months before I give this place another shot; the quality just isn't there to warrant spending standard brewery prices on.
